^ Cheers, Dill. Couldn't get that photo upright at all..

Was going to order from Decathlon, but they had ran out of stock for a similar type of frame. Yep, got pull-up bars (neutral or standard grip), and adjustable spotting arms for the heavy stuff.

Very impressed with how sturdy it is after assembly. Included is a a 20kg olympic barbell that is also good quality. Only problem is now I don't really feel all that motivated to train at home.

^None so far, but the missus almost spilled some somtam brushing past it yesterday. Probably needs a bit of hi-viz dayglo paint on the obstructing parts.

    How does this work?

Did a 10.2 klm fast walk this morning and its hotter than a pawn shop Patek out there. Get home literally soaking from top to toe and can't think of any way I could have possibly achieved a faster pulse or produced more sweat, it was a good cardio session. Just for fun I ask security to take my temp while entering the foyer at home and it reads 36.3 which is .2 degrees cooler than when entering Foodland yesterday after a 15 minute drive in an air conditioning car. WTAF?

Your body cools itself down through sweat, your blood vessels also dilate after vigorous exercise. If you up your work rate a bit, you will even get the phenomenom of Post run shivers, so I hear

What I've noticed, after working out, is if i take a cold shower and lie under the aircon straight away then I will sweat like Luigi at a parents evening and it's better to have a fag outside first

Under the proviso that we don't all die, we should come out of this fitter, healthier and less needy.

In between work, teaching the children, cooking their breakfast, lunch and dinner (the mrs is a frontline care worker), I'm working out three times a day on average. I've been cycling on an indoor trainer for years so nothing's changed there (I've said it before, I'll say it again - ZWIFT!), got some great countryside around me for textbook social distance running with the dog, and of an evening I now have a punchbag in the back garden that I beat the granny out of. It works.

    This is what I do.

I get the bike and health app ready out front, then put my ciggies, lighter and water on the porch.

Go for a 10km cycle (around 35 mins) and when finished, hit the water and then light up a ciggie whilst checking my stats out.

If I haven't fainted after the ciggie, I throw my clothes in the laundry bin and go shower.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

^ LOL.. from seeing my brother huff and pant, I can tell you that cigs take a lot out of how fit you can get. He's dying after a half hour walk. Good for you though on the bike riding.

^^That's awesome, Somtam. Sure keeping busy! Take good care!

I had a great exercise day today. Making use of this $400 Garmin I bought last summer.

Oh , the joys of living in a hot climate. lol.
Good job on the walk. I always found the heat and humidity killed me when I was out in Bangkok.

Don't use it as a clothes rack, as Dill has done.

^ that pull-up bar of Kmart's would hold a good few coat hangers.

My alcoholism seems to have encroached upon weights day, today. 3kgs heavier and back on the slippery slope

One hour cycle in the sun.

Resistance bands exercise with old inner tubes.

    3x 10 military presses with a 30kg barbell.

    40 sit ups.

Today has actually been a decent workout day considering I've been in the piss for a month now.

Don't give up! It is so hard, I hear ya, but this is what I've been doing.. anytime I want to binge on junk, I go out for a walk or bike. Make a schedule to get up at a certain time and walk on the treadmill or swim or lift weights. I made a bit of a studio in my room. I have my weights, yoga mat and try to do it every second day along wit cardio everyday.

Good job, Neverna and Chitty! Keep it up!
They can take away my gym, but they can't take away my determination!
20 pounds down in two months, maybe more now.

Did this today - Billy Blanks Taebo, quarantine edition. He uploaded it a few days ago. I'm glad he's also in his living room. I feel like he's a bad-ass drill sergeant telling people to "work it"!

In the afternoons, I do some kind of short "power walk". This is 12 minutes; there's a 15-minute version by the same lady.

76% of my bodyweight on there and back to the heaviest I've pressed. . Gonna try and get that up to 100%. Nothing Herculean.

5x5 at the moment. Had to break the last set up into a 3 and a 2

I'll leave it at that weight now until I can get to a 12, 10, 8.

After taking a couple of Months off and losing 10kg over the last 6 months, I lost loads of strength and had to drop down to pressing 37kgs so I'm getting there. So is my weight though

Good stuff, that's a pretty sensible plan.
