I actually did me cardio this morning with my little cross-training music game.

Starting to quite enjoy it actually. The random music / tempo can be a killer but.

^ Lets see the results then

The exercise bike gets a bit boring, was looking into ways of getting online with an app but a cheaper way than buying a bike trainer or that Pelathon which does look pretty cool.

May have to come join you on MFP if you promise no beefcake or glute shots

For sure that's why I've made it into a little musical game of rounders: jog; bike; ski-track thingie; walk -- all for one song each to the tempo of that song, repeat x3

Good work, not as many calories burned as I'd have thought. Thats less than half of my one hour cycle.

I wouldn't pay much attention to calorie numbers etc on such things, wouldn't expect them to be too near to the correct count.

Distance by GPS and the time.

And showing a chick all 3 minutes of the heartrate monitor after a root.

Cheers, I've seen snippets of that, and yes very interesting.

That Baker dude strikes me as a bit of a fundy though. No denying what he has achieved but he's a bit dodgy with the anecdotal evidence and should know better as a doctor.

Intervals are the way forward, Bollski - on the bike try 5 mins on/off hard/easy x 5; that'll get the metabolism moving.

Depending on weather and safety issues.

My fab cycling trips are to head out as far as you can away from home, have lunch and try to get back before my body gives up.
Great for burning calories and cardio.
Unfortunately these trips are few and far between.
    Roll on the summer.

One hour in the gym today.
    Shoulders,back and biceps.

Back to it...Took a couple of 30 second breaks to stretch, so I reckon I could hit 40 kms in an hour with a little extra push. So thats the next goal.

That piss up set me back

Hmmm.My 163 bpm was my maximum heart rate
Yours is slightly higher and looks like you may have a hole

    Gulati’s formula
To calculate a maximum heart rate, use the following formula:

    206 minus (age x 0.88) = maximum heart rate

A person can multiply their age by 0.88 then subtract that number from 206. For a person who is 20, for example, the equation would be: 206 minus (20 x 0.88) = a maximum heart rate of 188.4 bpm.

Then, to calculate the target upper and lower heart rates, a person can work out 50% of the maximum (50% of 188.4 is 94.2) and 85% of the maximum (85% of 188.4 is 160.14). Using this formula, the target heart rate for a 20-year-old is approximately 95–160 bpm.

I wouldn't pay much attention to what a 1000 baht MiBand says in that regard.

Distance by GPS and the time only.

    Heart rate, calories etc, nah.

You reckon you can do 40 km in an hour? Nah I don't believe it. I goes cycling a couple to 3 time a week. A total of 21 km each time and it takes about 56-8 mins and I don't fcuk about.
