The biggest change for me when I got into fitness is getting up early. I never liked waking up in the dark. Now I love seeing the sun come up. 3 days a week I get just about this distance done before 7am, the other 4 I finish about now 745 am. Good feeling to start the day. A lot more energy and better mood as well.

    Ya mad bastard.

Breakfast now with set 9am start point. Want to do 5km jogging, then about an 8km round trip walking to get a massage and pick up some lunch.

Just saw a nice 24km walk that I could do that I might try to tackle next Friday.

Did you uncheck the 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' box? If hosted on another hosting site (Imgur, for example)

Seems to be the case with images uploaded directly.

I copy and pasted your image into the image box and deselected the 'Retrieve remote file and reference locally' box.

I'll do it again below without deselecting it.

5Km jog, then head for town, went all Forrest Gump after the massage and only went and did 17km+ in total.

Edit: Just checked and that's 24,194 steps. Get in.

Gonna try a 24Km-er next week.

What's the longest/highest set of steps in Bangers?

Locate and rep many times for optimum fitness gains.

Is there something with more steps than...

. The main attraction at Tiger Cave Temple is a sacred site that stands at the top of a 238-metre-high flight of 1,237 steps. In some sections the steps are over a foot high, so it’s a gruelling challenge, but infinitely worth it for the reward at the top.

When reaching the summit you are welcomed by a majestic golden Buddha statue, a sacred shrine, and spectacular 360 views across the green Thai countryside, from the ancient trees of the Khiriwong Valley out to the Andaman Sea.

Pushed the lever on the reclining chair once to get in and once to get out. I think I might have a stress fracture to the finger from switching on TV with the remote.

I've managed to go down from 95kg to 82 kg since the beginning of the year but I've been stuck at that weight for the past few months.

I'm working quite hard just to maintain that weight!

My wife and daughter have moved back to Thailand so I'm by myself most of the time.
That helps with eating within the calorie limits set on the MyFitnessPal app. Normally I'd end up having to finish whatever my wife had cooked plus whatever our daughter couldn't finish.
I can also take time to exercise, mostly walking plus I bought a bench and a dumb bell set.

Probably most importantly I have completely stopped drinking alcohol at home so I only drink 2 or 3 times a month when I go out.

That is down to a tee nearly what I've done apart from the beers.

The most important imho is the calorie counting and exercise, not the booze, they are a meal in themselves, 8 voddys and coke zeros are better for you than a salad

    Whatever works for you.
I was getting into a habit of drinking more and more every evening after work, and stopping that was the main reason I've been getting other bits of my life together - like not being such a fat bastard!
