Burned a few calories this morning.
No breakfast, 20ml of L-carnitine an hour and 45 on the bike for 36 km and burned 1400 calories. (Not that I'm counting) and a kilo down.Log in your workouts today!-screenshot_20190805-085835-jpg

Yeah something not quite right with that calorie burn either, you'd have to be nailing it pretty much the whole time.

Nothing can stop the DOMs brought on by an ill-advised workout whilst still recovering from illness and where the mind says 'this shit is easy you've done it before!' but the body is like 'fuck you mind, that was a couple weeks back look at the state of us now!'

3.5km as I forgot me bottle of water.

Was quite good fun doing it in the rain.

Reckon I'll be doing Cujo's 5km in 29 mins by Friday.

I was pretty much burning it the whole time.
That calorie burn is about what it calculates for that ride every time. Does seem a bit high.
Don't know what's up with the max speed there.
    GPS glitch?

10km after a too long away from running on a regular basis ( about 6 months) did it in just under an hour, I'm happy with that but one of my knees is killing me. Also did back, quite enjoyed stretching that knots out of that.

Pair it with your iPad and it opens a new world of virtual riding and racing.

You might see me there if you're lucky. I'm the badass sitting on 400 watts.

Do it. Do it. Do it.

I was looking at these in the bike shop.
They are a pedal/electric hybrid with huge tyres. Great for not getting wedged in storm drains and fucking you twenty feet in the air and into the path of Somchai playing with his phone in his 18 wheeler.

Also great for doing the uphill work for you but the deal breaker is they are more expensive than a brand new Honda Wave.

I had a crack on an electric bike recently and it was actually pretty bloody quick. Barely feels like you're doing anything going up hills too.

Road one all over Santa Monica over 3 days. 15 cents a minute. Only timed while in use. Leave it where you like and pick up another one. Sure as heck beat Grab and Lyft.

You don't want anyone doing the uphill work for you Bollski, that's where you're going wrong, you lazy fucker

Get a wattbike and a Zwift account. It's got a very accurate simulation of Alpe d'Huez on it. Climb that fucker before breakfast and the rest will fall into place.
