I've only gone and got blisters on me arse.

^ Anal herpes. You really shouldn't share your bicycle saddle.
Whatever they are, they took a bit of explaining down at the 90 minutes, 4 hands, warm oil massage emporium this morning.
Autumn's here, bike's in the shed and I have a brand new pair of Hoka Speed Goat 4s on the shoe rack.
Halfway through week two of a structured 50 mile race plan.
^
But why?
Did your car break down?
The older you get, the harder you have to work to make an impact. Gym work is a bastard, but 5 weeks in, I know it’s making a difference.
How long is a ‘power nap’ supposed to last.
Anyone ever do mini-triathlons as part of their weekly regime?
Besides Slap, who does full ones before breakfast each morning.
I find swimming laps really boring, but could do 1km swim, 30km cycle, 10km run to start off, if it's worth it.
Anyone ever do it as opposed to just splitting running/cycling every second day?
Sounds like you've got iron man plans there mate.
Good luck with it.
Really need to get exercising my upper body again this winter, 10 years of gym muscle and it's all gone in 7 months of lockdown.
^ I found a gym 30 km away and it's ideal for combining cycling and upperbody work.
Press ups are all that's really required for strength, unless you wanna look big, which looks a bit daft, but that's just my opinion.
Not sure how that would work as part of a weekly regime unless you are training to take part in a triathlon, in which case it's a great idea to incorprate them - especially the bike to run transition.
They are all cardiovascular exercises so it would just be one long cardio session, albeit working slightly different muscle groups. If you wanna mix it up, in my opnion it might be worth dedictating a day to each rather than gong throuhh the faff of transitioning from sport to sport which is gonna waste time and effort.
I'm bad at swimming, very bad - it's so technique driven and probably requires lessons to get you swimming in the right direction. I have done a half iron man dualhtlon though: went ballastic on the bike leg and died a slow and painful death on the final run.
Many moons ago I completed the 2013 BT Swimathon, 200 laps of the pool in 2 hours, jeez it was boring and the training also.
Took literally ages to get into the zone, whereas with jogging, cycling, gym work, you propel there pretty quick.
I have about 40 kilos of free weights including a 15kg barbell and two dumbbells Nev.
Find it hard to get motivated at home, but really must try this winter.
Started last week with 5 sets of military presses, untill an injury ruled out exercise for the past week.
I'm just back from a 14km/8.75 mile run. I enjoyed it. Nice cool weather today.
Morning 60km bike ride.
Stopped for one of these luscious, smokey, grease-dripping pieces of protein at the 40km mark.
Upper body in the gym in the afternoon before swimming.
It was rather lush.
Added bonus was getting the smiley waitress's (possible apostrophe misappropriation) Line.
Running tomorrow morning, and will stop off there again on Monday's ride.
