4 hours of MTB Trailing in the hills of Rayong.

    Quite splendid.

The new gel seat cover really helps protect one's dairy air.

By the look of your erect nipples I'd say that bike seat has done a bit more than protect your bum.
I see you've put it back down horizontal in the second pic.

Just back from a 10km run, the second half was in the rain. Lovely.

Another 2 hours up and down the Dales on my bike today.
Not been to the gym for over two months now.
So all my muscle has gone south.
Gonna have to make a Summer outside gym for the upper body.

What's with the trend to ride bikes without mudguards? Like all that sh1t up your back?

I managed 150 full golf swings yesterday. (in practice not playing a game). That was enough for a couple of Singha beers.

No need for mud guards on road bikes unless it's raining.

A planned 3 hour bike ride turned into a 5 hour disorienting and dehydrating battle for survival today.

I got lost in a new maze of country lanes without hydration in 30oC heat.

Hardcore workout! Akin to being in a sauna for 5hours.

I thought you were in NW England where there is ne'er a week without rain...

...so you carry a mudguard with you?

Only cycle when its dry and it has been for 3 months now!

United Utilities are already sending out water restrictions after the wettest winter for years.

    Money for nothing!

£60 a month I pay them and I still pay on average £25 a month for bottled mineral drinking water.

^^ I only cycle when dry as well, but have a trekking bike with mudguards and panniers. Bike is heavy but nice to ride. I can get a small BBQ on the back as well.

Have been doing a fair bit of mountain biking and road cycling the last month. Pretty much daily.

About a week ago I noticed a dull pain at the bottom left of my right knee, at the front.

If the front of my right knee was a compass, it would be where the South-East SE letters would be.

It stays throughout the day, and the knee can get stiff, a bit painful, and also *pops* from time to time (sound wise, not feeling wise)

    Has anybody experienced similar?

I'd prefer if amputation isn't required, but if so, would prefer below the knee rather than above it.

    TIA.

Patellofemoral syndrome and patellar tendonitis are two common cycling-related injuries caused by overuse, weak muscles and improper bike fit
Have you tried swallowing your pride and lowering the seat?

What difference does having mudguards or not make if you only cycle on roads when its dry?

As far as I know they don't celebrate Songkran in Manchester.

What if it starts to bucket it down whilst you are out cycling, Sherlock?
