Seems like a lot! Rowing is great exercise!

I had my measurements taken four days ago, and thus far since September of last year I have lost a total of 25 inches in my hip/waist/arms/legs/chest. .biggest place that I have lost is in my waist and hips. Very proud of myself.

This week was a big leap forward. Broke the 20 minutes to move up to 3 miles and then shaved nearly a minute off the times on Wednesday and Thursday to 19:09 for 2½ and 23:07 for 3 miles. Not bad considering I was aiming for 24 minutes...

    Well done, Troy!

Good to get back, Chittychangchang..how's it going now?

I did a 45 minute intense toning class last night. Today is 30 minutes of cardio on the bike or treadmill.

Last 2 weeks was spent trying to increase the pace to 15 minutes for 2 miles. The best I managed was 2:07 but heart rate was limiting factor even allowing it to go to 95% max.

Will be back to the sub 24 minute 3 miler again next week. Maybe another month and I'll try and break that 15 minute boundary again.

^ Weather warmed up and I caught a cold...so no running at all this week.

^^ Not sure how 15:07 came out as 2:07 but I guess you know what I meant....

My daily regimen until 4 months ago, I had to sort myself out.

    6am

1/2 hr resistance bands, stretching, yoga with 10kg weight
    10mins flies (10 x 7 reps @ 2x 5kg weights)
10 mins exercycle, increasing brakes for last three mins)
10 mins of 20 squats then grab and lifts 10 x 23 kg

Then raise whatever on the press....finally , 211 lb ain't bad for an ol' fella

    Get weighed

    Breakfast
Oats, nuts, whey, yoghurt, vitamins, minerals.

    Later
1/2 hr fast walk with hand-suqeeze/grips downhill (1 mile or so)

    Lunch
Fruit or a wholemeal bread sarny with juice or water.

A bit longer walking back, uphill, using grips or carrying a load.

Up three flights stairs on arrival, 2 at a time,
Walk the last stretch of corridor slowly.

    Evenings

A good meal with home-brewed stout.

More grips, stretching, resistance bands and playing with the 10kg weight.

    Another beer.

    Ahhhhhh....then sleep.

Gained 5.3 kg of lean muscle mass and lost about 3-4 kg of belly and back fat, lowered cholesterol etc, tons of stamina.

    Vitamin B3

All up 2.5 < 3 hours a day in conscious exercise, rarely days off, but lots of short bursts, reps etc.

The usual walk up Silom Road, chuck a lap around Lumpini park checking out the hot biatches, into the out door gym, pump some weights and walk home again.

    Bloody good it is.

Obviously you don't ride out in the sticks then LT? Fun doesn't enter into it. If I don't get attacked at least 5 times by multiple dogs on my route I'm having a good day. Cycling where I live isn't for the faint hearted. Believe me.
