No point in dilly-dallying about.
Gotta get me New Year 10km training into gear.
10km: 1hr 13 mins.
Which is fine as I was drinking beer and whisky until 5am, and ran out of water at 8km.

^ getting on with it. good way to start 2020.
After burning off yer flubber, this little innocent looking implement of torture is great for core ab strength, definition and yer 6 pack.
Also great if looking to take up religion the following day while being in agony in places you didn't know existed.
Spot the guy who had a shit NYE
This is how your New Year should be starting instead of trying to put in more rotations than your hamster
^ Was he posting about me at 9:30pm on NYE too?
Starting the year off fit and ripped.
There's much to be said for drinking until 3am every night and then not eating any breakfast or lunch.
Managed to keep up the exercise during the holiday break. Went north for a week and the totals went down a little but did keep up daily exercise. Off for another year of exercise.
Back in ze gym today after a few days of overindulgence. Yesterday spent slabbed out on the sofa should have banked a tsunami of energy and enthusiasm... Let you know in a few hours.
^^ Good going there AO.
I banged out an easy 5 k this morning.
Quick question, if you have to stop briefly for traffic or a piss or a gaggle of fat chicks out for their morning waddle, do you have to start the clock again or can it be considered a continuation of the original run? And is it ok to deduct the time spent waiting/pissing from the run time?
Just wondering.

^ Isn't yours a total distance per day?
From when you step out of bed to when you climb back in?
Compared to manually starting it at the start of a session, then stopping when you finish.
^ Yup, but I can also manually set the thing to record time and distance without compromising the overall steps for the day. Mornings 50 minutes and a 6.5 K goal. Evenings an hour and try to get in 7.2 but often stop to chat with the old ladies out walking now. Since I started 19 months ago there has been an exercise revolution in my muban. Got given calendars, cookies, shopping bags, and even a beer or two the last few days, by people who have started to exercise more...
Cool.
Kinda on here too.
You, Cujo, myself...
Others, too weak minded and gave up. :/
Ah shure tiz awfully sad.
Good show everyone!
Let's make 2020 the decade of health and fitness.
Developed some love handles over the past couple of weeks so back in the gym today , kicked off with a banana and Whey protien milk shake.
Going for the all over body workout today, starting gently with low weights, don't want to pick up injuries by going at it like a mad man from the off.
^ Great time Cujo.
After doing 10km @ 8.21kph two days ago, had to limp home after 5km yesterday and today.
Reckon me race training of 10km @ 8kph 5 days a week will have to be 3 days a week with a rest day after each. -_-
Oh well, guess it's swimming and upperbody every Tuesday and Thursday then.
My longest run of the year so far and my fastest 10km in about a year. Just under 50 minutes.
Some advice please.
I'm currently jogging/running 10km every Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
Which leaves Tuesday and Thursday, and to a lesser extent Sat and Sun (drinking/gorging days. ) for upper body with dumbbells.
I have a home gym that I dismantled quite a while ago and can't be bothered putting it back together. So using dumbbells, and a rolly-poly wheel thing for abs etc.
Looking for toning/definition more than building bulk or body mass. So lower weight and more reps.
Any ideas for a weekly upper-body regime of 40-50-60 or however many minutes on Tuesday and Thursday, and maybe 2 x 15 minute sessions on Saturday and Sunday using dumbbells?
Info/regime ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Yes from you Ant.
No, not from you Flouncy MacHippo.
Google dumbell exercises dumbo
Mix it up a bit is my advice with 3x12 and 5x5s with heavier weights
I'm pretty sure Ant will tell you your lower weight higher rep toning statement is a load of bull
