I've worked up to the minute.. I can do it two times with a rest in between for 20 secs.
It is quite tough, but a great ab/core exercise.

Yeah, I am on a very strict diet. High protein /high veg/ketogenic diet. The pounds just melting off, actually I was told not to work out too heavy as I'm not eating that much and I don't want to pass out..haha.

"High veg" is the antithesis of the ketogenic diet (which is of itself pointless in my less than humble opinion).

At this point even Hippo Dill has realized that the certified Lulu Diet Program of daily exercise and a healthy balanced diet where you burn more calories than you take in, is the way to go.

Even if is he too weak to actually do it.

I've been preaching that shit for years -- consistency is the key -- but there's always someone with the 'Oh but I heard about this new high / low / no / carb / fat / protein diet...'

    Does me fecking head in.

I thought the CLD Program may have been inspired by something.

Set your time for one hour, and push to see what distance you can cover. The last 15 min's or so, you'll be caning it.

Then work on improving your one hour distance.

Time to step up bud. Be the best Dill you can be. none of this sauntering around.

I think it is good to either increase distance or speed or incline when you are trying to improve yourself when walking.
If I am walking on the treadmill, I pick up the pace. I also will put the incline to 5% or more and walk that way at the same pace.

Another thing that works for increasing the amount of calories you burn is to do intervals (HIIT). Walk fast and then slow down after a few minutes. It'll tire you quickly, but I have found it increases my VO2 max quickly and I get in shape faster.

Btway, I just want to remind Cy and a few others that when you are making snide/uncalled for remarks on what I say, then I will not reply to you. Cy knows he is on my ignore list, so stop trying to troll me.

Well maybe I shouldn't have said high veg, but I do eat veggies with every meal! And my diet is working for me, it isn't a diet, it is a lifestyle change. Low carb, high protein, high veg, nothing wrong with it.

Great but it's also not a ketogenic diet.

^There are different variations on the Ketogenic Diet and not just one standard that people follow (https://www.everydayhealth.com/ketog...-cycling-more/).

In other words, there are more ways than one to get your body into the state of ketosis. I was eating a higher fat, moderate protein diet and my coach (owner at the gym) definitely said it was a form of Ketogenic diet. Now I was told my my coach that I am still in ketosis, but I have changed the diet up.. mostly protein, some fats and next to no carbs at all. Apparently, I am in ketosis as I am burning weight quite fast and I did this type of diet four years ago and lost 60 pounds pretty easy. Anyone that goes Keto in some form loses weight pretty fast.

I agree that a balanced diet is best, but what if there was another way to do it to lose the weight (as I am doing) and gradually bring in carbs (complex carbs). I get my carbs from vegetables at the moment.

You're over-complicating matters. What you described isn't keto and it's irrelevant anyways, keto isn't magic (nor is intermittent fasting etc.)

I love to exercise outside, but it is too hot here. The roads and footpaths are too dangerous.

I think a gym boring after 20 minutes. I am now fatter and lazier.
