Cool..is that a newer show or an old one?
I'm watching the Biggest Loser US right now on TV ..the season finale is on very soon.
I really am not the hugest fan of Jillian... I find her a bit too tough actually. I like this guy's style.. he's firm, yet he also shows that he cares very much about his clients and gets them to open up. So easy on the eyes as well..

Indeed, did you see the episode where Jillian Michaels gave her team caffeine pills and then they brought back that idiot Rubben... I'm sure that was staged...sad though cause he ended up being booted eventually anyway. .. they just did it for ratings.

Ruben is a really good singer and person for sure...I heard he was just lazy, but who knows. I think he should have lost more weight, but we really don't know what was going on in the background... he could have been cheating or maybe he had other issues.

I have been working on my home adding an extension which is around 100 square metres doing most construction work myself and I have lost 8 kgs doing so.

Feel a hell of a lot better as well except for the 2 days I mixed by hand and leveled 5 cubic metres of concrete.

My whole body ached afterwards but I got the job done.

I have gone form dreading the thought of getting on the exercise machine to missing it during the rest days. I was up, raring to go this morning and then realised I can't use the machine until Monday. Damn, drat and double drat!

I have found the rest days are just as important for me. Pleased to find the rest pulse is down to 64 now and blood pressure lowered to 117/64. That's a bit better than the 168/95 major crisis I was having last August...

Excellent Troy.. I agree rest days are important.
I really need to do cardio today, but not sure if I will as I have a sore stomach. Tomorrow is toning class and weigh in day..doomsday..hehe.

i started using mapmyride late 2012; best monthly tally has been 796, but aim for 500 each month

For January 2014, 580km in 17 rides; ok with that considering had a week away, and also moved house, missed days, but - 'could have done more!'

Superstitious? Should I stay home Tuesday 4th?
4 Feb 2008 - motor cycling, hit side-on by car doing a quick u-turn (twin headlights, fluoro vest, daylight didn't help). Hospital
4 Feb 2013 - cycling, just finished 56km ride, 'sideswiped by sidecar' as he did a left turn in front of me having not noticed passing the 187cm farang in bright orange cycle shirt 40m/a few seconds before. Hospital, but mainly dental required.
4 Feb 2014 - we get satellite connected tomorrow, i may stay home and browse 300 channels

    Cycling at 102?

    Cyclist, 102, sets world record
    January 31, 2014

Age hasn't slowed cyclist Robert Marchand. The 102-year-old Frenchman broke his own world record in the over-100s category Friday, riding 26.927 kilometers (16.7 miles) in one hour, more than 2.5 kilometers better than his previous best time in the race against the clock two years ago.

By way of comparison, the current overall world record for one hour is 49.700 kilometers (30.882 miles) set by Czech Ondrej Sosenka in 2005.

Marchand, a retired firefighter and logger, also holds the record for someone over the age of 100 riding 100 kilometers (62 miles). He did it in four hours, 17 minutes and 27 seconds in 2012.

I am on day 14 of my ab workout program, https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...com.caynax.a6w.
Can feel the exercises working now,and get a few twinges in the evening where the muscle groups have had a work out.
So far since the start of December have lost 8 kg through diet and extra exercise.
Getting back in to bad habits though checking my weight everyday, will increase my workouts soon, upper body and arms got a knackered right shoulder so will have to start off slowly.

    haha, best you stay home.
Inspirational about the over 100 cyclist who broke his own record...thanks.

Happy to see everyone doing activity!

I missed the last few days working out as was sick....but I finally went today and did 20 minutes of 30 sec intervals.. 7mph for 30 secs, and then walk for 60 secs, repeat for 20 minutes.
Been getting so many compliments lately from people who I haven't seen in awhile... saying I look younger (40 pounds gone in the last four months), and today the owner of my gym complimented me as well. Feels good for me to see the hard work paying off, and feels nice to hear it as well from others.
