For an accurate resting heart rate, I prefer to take it myself manually. Sit in a chair or on a bed in a cool room with a watch or clock to look at and count your heart rate at your wrist for the full minute.

My heart rate when jogging is often 145 but for no more than 10 or 15 minutes as I poop out. I more run than jog. But am just building up the jogging part. Cut a normal 11 minute leg of my walk to 8 today. I like the rush of jogging, but prefer my fast walk. But also realize I can begin to jog more so do it. Easier in the evenings for me than the mornings. My walking heart rate for 6 k in 50 minutes is 85-95. It was 30 percent higher at the start. You gotta go for it Dill its the only way. You see the results, so keep working out.
The normal resting heart rate for adults over the age of 10 years, including older adults, is between 60 and 100 beatsper minute (bpm). Highly trained athletes may have a resting heart rate below 60 bpm, sometimes reaching 40 bpm.
I went out for 8km / 5 miles again today. No running this time and no easy walking, just moderate walking and brisk walking. Total time 67m 22s, which makes an average pace of 7.125 km/h. The first km was the slowest km and took 8m 36s and the fastest km only took 8m 07s. I tried a slightly different walking technique with the last km (the fastest one) and it certainly worked in upping the pace. My cadence also increased in that fast km. I counted myself a cadence of 128-129 for about 4 minutes.
You should take some pics Nev, lovely part of the World out there in the evening time.
It wasn't.
But spent a year not that far from you. Always lovely colours in the evening time, especially around this time of year (wet season)
Any time is good for me. Different colours all year round.
In terms of heart rate, this was a tough effort. The sort where you're kind of crying for the last 15 minutes or so.
Couple of years back - surprised I didn't pass out here...
Time trials are like that. Fuck everything apart from going as hard as you bastard well can.
Just ordered this waste of money for when I'm sitting on the sofa annoying people on the internet.
Looks a great idea
The first pic I thought WTF, that's not gonna work
How much?
800thb.
The LCD screen that shows your distance is kinda interesting/useful.
Will be in the store room by the end of the month.
Funny leg position though, unless you are a unicyclist or Jensn Button, will be like peddling a go kart again
I'll wait for your review
Will post it up when that powder arrives.
Bored of the park now, decided to take it to the Beach
Sun lotion check
6 pac check
Short shorts check
Managed a poxy 4kms.
Won't be walking up that stretch again. Full of fukkin deviants
Thought this wa a g-string shot. Luckily I haven't lost too much weight to get chucked in the sea by her boyfriend like Luigi would have
Looks like she's gagging for a piece of dill
Safely back on Jomtiem beach.
Think I spotted Mendip
Try jogging in the sea at knee height next time, see how far you can go before collapsing.
Fucked if I'd wade in that.
Even the fish are trying to evolve feet again
Decided to take it up a level having hit a plateau with weight loss. The old body doesn't wanna let go of anymore fat.
I will teach it with some HIIT instead of long brisk walks.
Got my Couch to 5k app out and started on week 2 today, which is a warm up followed by 2 minute walks with six 90 second runs in between and lasts 31 minutes.
Completed it and the bastard app says pay to upgrade to see your stats. Cnuts
This is off Samsung Health but doesn't take into account having a piss and going the shop to get water.
Anyway... Fuckin walking at 12kmh?
Then at the bottom of the page says 18kmh
Oh well, happy with the workout, especially after leg day yesterday.
There was a fat Farang blonde thing in the park jogging slowly. She must have thought I was taking the piss; I'd run past her then the app would say walk, then she'd overtake and I'd run past her and walk again. After 3 laps she started jogging in the opposite direction, probably demoralised
Utter shit sleep last night for a number of reasons (fkn cat ) so I was dreading this mornings workout but absolutely nailed that shit.
Weights felt light and blasted through a really good Upper / Pull workout and felt great... Three cups of tea in now though and I could use a nap.
^ I woke up at 2.30 am. place was freezing cold with the aircon on and decided to do a bit of bench pressing and curling, testing out the casein. My shoulders and arms were stinging like a bastard after until I got a protein shake down me.
Was looking into the best time to train and the afternoons seems to me to be the best bet when you are stronger and have loads of fuel to burn off, although I like getting the fucker out of the way
