    Good effort Nev.

Just drank a blended shake of two bananas, 6 eggs and a pint of skimmed milk.

Gonna blast the back and Biceps today.

It may be a shocking revelation.

But swimming everyday certainly gives you an, err, swimmers body.

Best exercise I've been doing thus far.

You should ditch the skimmed milk. Go for full fat, it's healthier believe it or not.

I'm feeling fucking great these days. Down from 101 kg August last year to 78. Running 8-10 km or cycling 35 - 60 km most days so the fat suit's gone and I've got some 13 kg dumbbells at home and working those in various ways every day which has given me nice upper body tone. I'm light and strong so feeling very agile and fit .
I reckon I'm in the best shape my life to be honest.
Wish I'd discovered this way of life years ago.

Completed my first ultra marathon a few weeks back. Been training for ultra distance - this was a 60km trail race - for a couple of years but the workload resulted in injury just before the events I had lined up. Trained under the radar this year, activating 'Slap stealth mode'; heavy workload but evenly spread over run commutes, long runs once a fortnight and lots and lots of high-intensity cross training.

I've got a 100-mile race pencilled in for next year. Man needs focus innit.

Or a car, much more efficient for 100 miles.

Still I salute your sheer mentalness and effort. My neighbor also recently completed one of these ultra things. I think being slightly nuts is a prerequisite. Sado-masochism too.

Well done, Slap. Hopefully there was a Wetherspoons pub or kebab shop near the finish line.

Well done slap. Months ago you gave me words of encouragement so thanks. I have kept it up. Lost a couple of kilos as well keeping up the same distances in the heat.

Going out at 530 for another 4.5 K.

I think 60 year old Simon says he jogs 10km in the same time.

Looking up I wish I hadn't seen 64 year old AO's daily number of KM's now.

Nope, leave me water bottle on a table next to the lake. 1km lap, drink, then off again.
