Looper or Nev might know. Do they usually lay their eggs and bugger off and leave 'em, or come back to take care of them.

I'd feel a bit bad about wiping them away if she's gonna come back.

Got to start me abs on set 5 before the dreaded pec strain made himself known.

Suppose a 4 hands warm oil massage might help sort that out.

    No pain, no gain.

Another few months training and when you eventually hit the plateau, you need to step it up...

Followed by a lovely wee gym sesh.

triceps, delt shoulder presses, pec butterflies, abs, pec bench presses x 6.

We had dinner last night with a zumba buddy that is a professional nutritionist and was interesting chatting with them.

Basically, a fantastic lifestyle to stay fit, trim and healthy is a tri-combo of moderate cardio 3-4 times a week, step count of around 10k per day, moderate gym strength workout 3-4 times a week, and a high protein, low sugar and carb diet with a lot of low cal high volume foods.

One pitfall many people fall into is doing 60-90 minutes cardio in the morning, then lazing around for the next 12 hours, so keeping up the step count during the day after a cardio sesh is quite important.

Anyway, where's MM nowadays? On holiday in the Rockies?

I've started up my cold water swimming for the winter. The health benefits are supposed to be amazing.

This is the view I have for several moments each morning while trying to think up excuses why I can take the day off and not dive in... but such is my will power I have so far taken the plunge every single time.

    Thank you.

I'm not sure if I actually enjoy it, but I have a spare 30 minutes between the daughter leaving for school at 06:30hrs and the dog walks that start at 07:00hrs. I like routines.

If all goes to plan, this time of year the sun is just poking it's head over the garden wall as I'm finishing up.

Making exercise part of your routine, like brushing your teeth, makes it easier. You probably don't need to talk yourself into brushing your teeth, it's just something you do everyday without thinking.

Actually you're Bri'ish so that might not be a good example.
Replace 'brushing your teeth' with some other daily, repetitive task.

    Back to it.

New year's resolution is upping the morning cycle to 40km 5 days a week.

Light and easy 30km today, tomorrow and Saturday to get back into it.

40km per weekday starting on Monday.

Anyone else make a new year exercise pledge thingy?

    First 40km runout.

Noticeably slow thanks to meeting me ol' friend at 26km.

    The lil fooker.

Back to fight training with the boys in the arvo, stopping off at a tube shop on the way, and feeling fresh for another 40km tomorrow morning. :-)
