Not a 'workout' as such but first bike ride in ages with daughter, 17, today now she's on school holidays.
No timer or distance recording, 33C with 'realfeel 39C' and a lot of heat off the asphalt when stopped at intersections, ok when moving.
From about age 8-14 we'd always have our little races to particular points, bridges etc, the start rules were her taking off at speed ahead of me then yelling 'go' but now more leisurely and less competitive, suits me in this temperature.

    Cloudy day in Chanthaburi

^That is very hot! Kudos for getting out with your daughter. Sounds like a fun time! Enjoy Prawnograph!

I'm off today, and heading to a 1 hour spinning class with weights soon.
I'll probably burn near 500 calories. I haven't went spinning in about four months as I'm doing other activities. I hope I can walk tomorrow.

    Really? lol
Get your smartwatch on and start timing your lengths/time and calories. I have my watch on all the time. I track my steps, resting heart rate, Basal Metabolic rate, calories I burn while resting and moving. etc..
I'd also suggest getting a garmin or any watch that has GPS.

    Covid will do that, dear.
Give it time! As my good male friend said to me last night on the phone..... congratulate yourself on how far you've come so far. It is so easy to beat ourselves up. We are our own worst critics. Keep at it!

    #motivated.

    Thanks.

Have you considered moving into motivational speech work within the health and fitness sector? I think you'd do very well.

Thanks.. No, not really, but I used to be a weight trainer (personal trainer) in university and I'd love to get back into something like that someday. Especially next year once I reach my goals. 20 pounds down, 40 to go.

Not sure if I mentioned it, but was in a covid coma for a while there.

    Back to running before breakfast.

    5km.

Started at 8:09 so set a frankly pathetic aim of 51 minutes given my lungs couldn't breathe for 3 weeks.

5km in 38.xx minutes to start with.

    Breakie.

    Rest.

    Abs, biceps, traps, lats.

    Chicken pasta lunch.

    Edmond's back bitches.

Started doing intervals jog/run on the treadmill. After many years I can jog again. I have had trouble with my knees and haven't jogged in a long time. Felt amazing jogging again. My speed was slow, but HIIT is a killer workout.
Feeling fitter than ever, down 22 pounds now.

Good for you MM, knees are a problem as we age and exercise.
Mine are killing after a 3 hour ride, should have stuck to one hour, trouble is you carried away on a nice day.

As for jogging, I'll give that a miss , too much of a detrimenal impact.

    Take it easy!

Thanks.. I tore my miniscus awhile back and I had to work hard to get my knees to where they are at, plus less weight helps too!
I know jogging is hard on the body, but doing it a few times a week brings great benefits as I did it back in 2014. I understand that many don't want to jog. I find it easier on a treadmill at least to start.

    ^ Top man.

I'm just heading out for a wee 20km cycle. Getting back into it slowly. It's also around 20 million degrees Celsius.
