    Cancer From Oral Sex

I recently saw a TV report where a well-known celebrity was diagnosed with throat cancer and the medical opinion was that he probably got the cancer due to an HPV infection (which is known to cause cervical cancer in women) acquired through oral sex with a female.

If so, that is one more thing to consider before "going down" on a woman (or a man if you are so inclined).

Just saw where this was reported in The TD Lounge. Not sure why it wound up there. It relates to Health Issues, I would think.

Also esophageal cancer can be caused by a long term acid reflux condition.

Not according to the doctor in the report.

There is pretty strong medical evidence that HPV can cause cervical cancer.

So, if the lady has HPV in her vagina and you are lapping those fluids, it seems very reasonable that those same HPV viruses could cause cancer in the membranes of your throat.

IMO the smart thing would be to have the well in which you are drinking tested before you put the water in your mouth.

This is probably particularly true in Thailand based upon the report that 14 Thai women die everyday from cervical cancer.

It does seem that the more you learn about life, the more you learn that playing "loose and fast" seems to come back to haunt you.

That is true, so a smart person would try and mitigate the condition by medication and eating the right kinds and amounts of food.

That might work (unless Dettol is also carcinogenic).
