    Optometrist's in Bangkok

    I'm looking to get some new glasses in bangkok,sukhumvit area
    I know there are plenty around i have scanned the net
    not worried about price just looking for good opticians.

    They all seem pretty much the same to me. Look for a good 2 for 1 deal on frames.

    Yeah i might just go for a wander around when i get there.
    Got told Siam Optical is pretty good.
    I might start there.

    The last time I got frames I went to the opticians in Erawan Plaza and paid for one pair at 6,000bt and got a 6,000bt pair free.

    I ended up loosing both so I've got contacts now.

    Prices vary greatly for some types of prescriptions and there a lot of choices regarding lenses. If you use bifocals or progressive lenses the variation in price can be significant depending upon where you go. Frame prices are pretty competive everywhere but the optical shop at Big C on Rama IV has some pretty good discounts on discontinued frames.

    Thanks mate my lenses are pretty straight foward i'm a little bit short sighted.
    As for frames i won't be going for anything to trendy.

    Beautiful are good, linked to Top Charoen but seem to be better value.

    That said, there's not a huge amount to chose between them......
