Can anyone recomend any or suggest some addresses?

For my money and the many people who I have introduced to this place, it offers the best "beer hall" beer, food and entertainment in SE Asia.

The one near Central Ladprao if it's the same one I'm thinking of closed in 2003 which is a shame because it was a nice drop....

There's a very good one out near Phuttamonthon park which is really huge with big grounds and where all the staff dress up in Bavarian costumes . I'll try to find the name of it and its website.

Tawandaeng Brewery on Rama 3 Road is the original version and has the best show organized by Bruce Gaston, an iconic musician in Thailand. The place gets packed. I think closed on Monday but you can check again. Good to make reservations. Their number is: 026781115. Most of the food is Thai but the Pork Knuckle there is popular. There is another place on Thong Lor called Hopps a block from our place which is more of a restaurant/bar, although we do have some nice Belgian imports.

Well, I've been taken there twice and its always packed out. There is even a little childrens zoo in the grounds. Is located on Utthayan Road which is a dual carriageway running into Phuttamonthon Park.

The brains behind making that bar run well has moved to Thong Lor 13 with a new bar called BREW.

Tawandang is great, but it's best with a group of at least four (preferably a lot more).
