Except for that blood pudding crap, I enjoyed every English breakfast I've tried.

Still, though, nothing beats this setup for me in the morning:

    Pancakes are optional.

Noooo! Those dried remains are ham cured in a smokehouse. Expensive stuff, too. Gawd, it's good.

Definataly some extremely poor breakfast selections here I am duty bound to report.

Rouffage is what you need Ruffage, not saturated lard and sugar dripping.

Whole grain cereal, toast with plant sterol margerine, yogurt with plant sterols, and 2 cups of unsugured white tea.

    Then a good shit somewhere.

Coconut skin/rinds should fix your problem, but from what you have quoted in the past about your bottom parts, your gonna hate yourself in the mornin'

    Staffordshire breakfast.

Something i've not tasted in a few years.

Add mushrooms, brown sauce, and a side bowl of cooked (tinned) tomatoes.

    OATCAKES.

    Then roll up and eat.

Here's a nice breakfast you'd find at hundreds of diners in the US for the equivalent of less than 200 baht- a nice omelette and some hash browns, with maybe a short-stack of pancakes/bacon/sausages on the side (and not a bean in sight):

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

It's true- grits are awful (though, as a native New Yorker, I'm genetically predisposed to hate them)- that said, you won't find grits on the menu (generally) outside of the South.

I managed to 'find' them in Phitsanulok. (Sorry, HB)

Instant grits, most likely- that would go down in the Southern US about as well as the canned breakfast posted ealier in this thread would go over in the UK (perhaps even less so).

I'm with you on that LB,
My usual breakfast consists of Oats, milk and fruit, bananas, papaya & lychee generally, or whole meal bread / toast plain.
If I'm toasting it I add a smear of olive oil and then on the pannini grill topped with diced tomatoes, garlic and fresh coriander and Basil.
    Perfect!

I'm not a health nut but, never been keen on grilled or fried oily breakfast, partic anything containing bacon and eggs.
Putting that stuff in your gut 1st thing in the morning just seems a stupid idea.

I only eat a 'real' breakfast if I'm on vacation- otherwise every morning is 750ml of non-fat milk, a bowl of high-fiber cereal, and a can of water-packed tuna- boring as hell- it makes me enjoy the odd American breakfast all the more when I get to have one.
