    What's inside bamboo?

Can't remember what this is called, but it's the signature dish of Chonburi, red beans and sticky rice steamed in a bit of bamboo. If anyone Thai visits Conburi their relatives all expect a bag of them. Looks dodgy but tastes amazingly good. Wolfed this down before I got out of the province.
Did you just make that up?

    They are indeed nice !
A local variant that I only ever saw was in Kerteh ( east coast of Malaysia ) had the rice steamed with coconut milk and stuffed with beans, crab and little bits of lemon - bloody orgasmic and addictive !
