the store bought pie shells are fine and where some are not puffy pastry fans for pies, I like the puffy pastry for pies and find them to be a nice change. Mrs LT uses the puffy pastry and those are just out of this world.
happy pie making....
Thanks mate and yes they are.Quote:

Those English pork pies with the thick pastry are OK but then again you normally eat them cold.

Made with the device on the right, Breville pastry creations, It does a reasonable job except that I over filled the pastry cases and Had too much flour on the pastry hence the blotchy appearance.
Quick and easy tho', took me less that 15 minutes including the baking.
^ Looks OK mate.
Is the machine available in Thailand or only in NZ?
How much for this Breville unit?
Thanks mate and I will look into buying a few next time I am over there.
They do an whole range of stuff
Breville - Welcome to Breville Australia
^ I used to make thermo-set plastic parts for them and the onces they put on their first sandwich toaster they marketed about 30 odd years ago.
In fact I think we got about 4 of the fookers as wedding gifts.
That pie machine could open up a whole new world of late night drunken cooking. Move over Brevile sandwhich maker.:)
The guys at brevile must all be piss heads.
Had this hilarious ad drop into my inbox today for Mrs Mac's pies.
