Yorkies not what it used to be

After many years in Pattaya enjoying Yorkies products,it now seems things have gone downhill--have always put up with the price increases that come with amazing regularity, but over the last year or so the quality seems to have gone as well
This morning the dog has enjoyed my black pudding --when bought had blood leaking out of it and cooking this morning reduced it to a horrible sludge at the bottom of the fry pan
Where do other members source their bacon/sausages

They weren't much good to start with. Their pork pies were OK, the rest utterly forgettable.

Shame on the Poms- the Yellamans have been eating your lunch on butchery products for as long as I've been in this joint.

If your Yorkie's bleeding, take it to the vet.

I'm at a loss to understand the greed and stupidity sometimes. The farang food here is terribly overpriced, such as 100 baht for a small container of potato salad that probably has 5 baht worth of ingredients in it (used to be 45 baht 3 years ago and nothing has really gone up that much.). Sorry to hear the quality has gone to hell, too bad you did not try to return it to the store, would have been interesting to see what would have happened, and if the store did refund your money, Yorkeys would have heard about it.

I was sitting with a few long timers here tonight and we all agreed that Norman lost the plot with Yorkies years ago.

Like, we have all been down there on countless ocassions, buying ridicuosly over priced food and then even going into his freezer to purchase shit you would not feed to you dog.

The ironic thing about what we are doing is there is no other fucker doing it better so beggers can't be chooses.

Does anybody know if Bunter's are open on Sundays?

I want to go today but the website does not state the opening hours and nobody is answering the mobile and landline numbers.

Nice info. wished you could tell us what your opinion of the meat there? I buy my meat at Villa and am somewhat satisfied with it. Have a friend who gets up early and goes to JJ market I think he said to get his. Would not think that they had beef though. thanks

I thought there were quite a few places to choose from in Pattaya, so someone must know how to make a sausage (No, Germans can't).

We get some sausages in Udon from a Pattaya supplier and they seem OK.

Soi Siam Country club- about 10km out from Walking street, opposite Lake Mabprachan.

It's a fairly prominent pub & restaurant- easy to spot. They make their own porkies.
