    Holiday munchies

Being lazy expats and forever doing favors for out "gang" of evening embibers we often "cook" up something for special occasions.

Being really lazy this year we "ordered out". The following is a pictorial description of our order.

The first is a 10 Kilo turkey fully cooked with all the trimmings: mashed spuds; can of cranberry sauce; asparagus; carrots; squash; roast potato; gravy; dressing;rolls (10) and butter. Enough for a feast of 10 cost 3800 baht

Next we have a 10 kilo ham, complete with: mash potato; carrots; cauliflower; squash; asparagus; roasted potato; BBQ sauce; gravy; rolls (10) and butter.
    Cost 2800 baht.

In the above photo you can see it comes fully presented with veggies spread around and all cling wrapped to insure freshness.

The tray sits on several containers with mashed, gravy, more carrots, BBQ sauce etc.

A little fuzzy but you caenae blame me!

Very excellent piece of ham. One of the best I've ever had as a matter of fact. Perfectly cooked ( All cooked to order BTW) and still slightly warm on the inside.

No pic but I expected a bone of some size when it was all cut up. Not so the total bone mass was less than the size of your fist. Quite impressive I must say and it was delicious.

    Nice snacks over a few (??????) Leo's and Singha's

    Thai Airways......

The bone remnant weighed less than 3/4 of a pound, one hell of a lot of meat
