Really cheap pint of Guinness/beautiful

Went to my friends old pub in soi 10 Threppasit road,near Secret Motions,and it's all done up nice,and sports from channel four ( uk ),everywhere, and ,couldn't believe the Guinness is 140 a pint every Monday, so I lost count how many we had! Regular price every day is 170. See you next Monday.
Oh, and nice staff................ might stay the night...

the cheapest I can get it in Bangkok is 170 and thats plus VAT and only on a Monday! shame, coz thats the only drink I drink when im drinking.

I have it on good authority that most of the stuff we have in Thailand is from Ireland. Fek know why.

^^thats the way it works in Thai, when the Aust dollar was on the floor the prices still went up, now suppliers quote strong Baht BUT the Aust dollar has been level pegging the baht for quite a while now

Currently in Shannon, Ireland and paying between 4.20 and 4.60 Euro (170-190THB) for a pint of Guinness at the pubs. Feckin expensive over here!

I recently paid 1.75p in Wetherspoons in the UK. John Smiths was about the same. Refuse to pay over 200 baht per pint for Guinness.

^ Please dont use Wetherspoons as a yardstick, they were the begining of the downfall of so many good pubs.
£1.75 is almost exactly the price + vat that local small independent pubs have to pay for their Guinness from the brewery.

The Guinness in soi 10, off soi 17 Pattaya, is definitely from Dublin, 140 bt offer is on till Christmas. (every Monday) 170 a pint rest of the time.
