Jomtien Number One Restaurant, English, European and Thai Food

As Jomtien has a large gay population the restaurants are done out quite nice, ie cloth table cloths, napkins and proper cutlery, all the male waiters are a bit effeminate, so this morning I went to the Number One Restaurant, this is halfway between the Hanuman Statue and Dong Tan Police station, ie a couple of hundred meters before you get to the beach.

The Number One Restaurant does English, European, Thai and Chinese food, I normally avoid these places as they tend to have too many choices are most dishes are mediocre at best, still, got to be better than 7/11 I suppose, it also only uses steaks that are imported from New Zealand so may have to try one of them one day.

Proper coffee and orange juice, plus loads of condiments.

Cold mushrooms, cold bacon, funny looking English sausage but it tasted ok, a couple of tablespoon full of baked beans, unfried tomatos, thought that was a bit strange for an English breakfast or maybe my memory is playing tricks and we ate raw tomatos for breakfast in the UK, also came with toast and jam, not bad for 135baht although in the rougher parts of Pattaya it would probably be a 99baht breakfast.

Sorry mate but that don't look appetising at all, if you ain't tried it before just go back up the road a bit and give The Ace Cafe a go, i'd thoroughly recomend their breakfasts.

How much did you spend for this great breakfast buffet?? If I want to add fat to my big belly I normally go to Apex or Lek. Might change my location after your photos.

Yeah I might do that in the next few days, I was just on my way back from Soi Wat Boon and looking for some where to eat, most places were still closed.

At least this guys got a small amount of imagination, I mean he serves his beans in a Gravy Boat is this some sort of queer boyz code like wearing you keys outside your pants.
Cold Mushrooms, cold Bacon and raw tomatoes, must get down to Jontiem some time, but not too soon.

Had the same problem in USA when I asked for some fried tomato with my bacon and eggs. Ended up with thin slices of raw tomato seared on each side. Result was soggy raw tomato.

One trip to LOS we went for breakfast at a little open sided place down the southern end of Walking Street (near Siam Bayshore). The poor girl there was new and only knew toast and jam for farangs so the (Thai) wife jumped behind the counter and took over the cooking. Not bad except for the condensed milk in the cha lawn. But that was a few years ago.
