Chicken parmesan.
Chicken parmesan.
I was fed up of getting ripped off at the work canteen so today I popped down to Waitrose and bought some ciabatta rolls and a pack of Emmental cheese....it was very nice and filling but I fear that I may have overdosed on cheese - that'll teach me.
Back off Margaret, you're on a sugar rush!
A magnificent scrambled egg serving, with diced cherry tomatoes, on generously buttered malted wholemeal bread, served with a strong mug of tea and a smile. The latter, I suspect was down to the fact that I had agreed to look after the children whilst the bearer of the smile went shopping unimpeded after I had munched!
Thanks, DrA. I know I've had them before, but thought they were a Prairies berry, like gooseberries, saskatoons, and my absolutely to kill for berry: chokecherries.
I'm on a cleanse kinda, so for breakkie I had lots of water and an acidopholous cap. Followed by more water. Then yogurt with psyllium (this fiber crap to clean your bowels) and blueberries. More fekin water. Then, I was so hungry I had half a kaiser roll stuffed with ham, havarati cheese, lettuce and green pepper slices (oh, that's healthy). Then I said, F it, and had a glass of wine. Probably won't poo for a week now.
For todays lunch, I had breakfast. Jimmy Dean Sage Sausage patties an sunny side up fried eggs prepared by Mrs. Chi.

I cooked a real nice pasta sauce with chicken, carrot, onion and red pepper. Would have been nice if I hade enough pasta for me instead of just enough for the boy. Potato's not much of a substitute but filling.
^^ Chi, that is one toxic lunch.
Kao soy gai
A chicken muffin at starbucks...chicken, sultanas and cashew nuts in a muffin.
Salad & Guava Juice. Healthy I am told
^Initially, I had a healty lunch. A banana and an apple.
Then I got hungry again and went for tuna/cheese melt on a crusty baguette and a pint.
Baked potato, baked beans, and cheese. If that's boring to read just imagine what it was like having to eat it. The potato wasn't properly cooked, which made it a little bit more exciting, but not much.
Potatos filled with meat and secret sauce
Prawn sandwich and mixed nuts and bolts....I mean raisins. I read somewhere that prawns like to hang around sewer outlets....weirdos.
Baked potato, with tuna, sweetcorn, red onion & mayo and a sprinkle of paprika on top.
Hmm. Friday must be "baked pot." day.
Baked potatoe, pan fried chicken and a big plate of salad.
Quorn 1/4 pounder. I love quorn. Some say it's cruel eating quorns but in mitigation I only ever buy free-range quorn. It's more expensive but it helps me sleep with a contented smile.
nb: my cooking tip for today - cover everything with Tabasco. It kills the taste of just about everything. You could have a shoe in-sole between two slices of cardboard covered in Tabasco and you'd be in very heaven.
subway.6" tuna on parmesan oregano bread. with all the salad except pickles and a can of 100 plus.
followed by a strawberry Cornetto (from the freezer in the office pantry)
I rarely put something into my mouth I have to spit out....today I did.
Luckily, I left my foot long sub in the back of the taxi last night.Originally Posted by DrAndy
