Marmers says that if I cook her up barbecue smothered in Cattlemans sauce, potato salad, and pinto beans she will just pick at it though. Is that true GOW?

I'm actually lucky enough to have a Thai wife that prefers foreign food.
She is especially fond of baked beans on toast, carbonara and of course my special chili.

Mine used to prefer my cooking as well. But ever since pregnancy and kids she has preferred jungle food, nam plicks, all kinds of that stuff, platu, kapi, long ruah, with boiled veggies and little fried fish.

Somtom, lahb, namtok, kor mu, gai yang, kao neow, I could live on that food. When the maids are cooking it up I am one happy camper.

You cook her up some decent western (good ol' USA BBQ!) food she'll love it. I have'nt met a Thai woman yet that didn't love it each one has said they don't like "farang food," til they've had a decent meal.
The (future) wife always eat all my coleslaw I never get seconds.

FriscoFrankie, I absolutely agree with that. My wife is always craving for a good steak.

Anyway, I will have a lamb roast today as is the tradition for easter sunday. For western food there is no better cook than my mother of course.

I had fried rice for lunch, but then a short while later brother in law came home with more: larp moo, gai yang, luk chin tot and rice.

Now I just finished a bowl of lat na that someone put in front of my face.

    So full now....

    mango shake: 60baths Mmmmmmmmm....

So good I tried to drink it too fast and got an ICECREAM HEADACHE!

    Club Sandwich: 125baths Very good...

I had this in one of my locals here in thonglor today, and although I enjoyed it, it doesn't beat somtam and sticky rice for 30baths IMO!

The mango shake I could have everyday mind you
