I lost about 3 kg recently, I weight 50 kg at the moment. All jeans are too big for me now.

Anyway, my workmates took me for a wonderful noodles shop today they wished I would eat a lot. It's only 10 Baht a bowl. Everyone had 3-4 but I still can't eat much, only 1 bowl but it's excellent really.

Baked yam with butter, shrimp salad, thich chunk of garlic toast, creamed cottage cheese, half an apple, tap water with lemon juice, coffee. Getting cold here, so the body demands more fuel.

Mrs. Kerr is just working out a menu for all the foreigners moving into this part of town and complaining that they can't get any good "farang" food out here ... so this was done at home. Today for lunch she did her lovely chicken chicken pesto salad and rice .

Looks like it ... albeit around new year. Hopefully I can talk her out of it by then. She says she just wants to do it for fun, I think it'll be tough getting many customers with all the food courts nearby, but on the other hand we've had about 20 new foreigners (mostly chaps from merry old England) move into our soi in the past 6 months. I guess the worse thing that can happen is we lose a little bit of money .

Better get used to it if you're gunna survive in Sydney mate. Actually my job requires that I maintain a high beer assimilation capacity, and my boss demands that I have a good liquid lunch most days and then put in a good 12 hrs work after that .

We are in the Ratchadaphisek area ... the home of soapy massages, IT malls, good Thai restaurants, but next to no decent western food places ... unless that cowboy joint under Robinson counts

I had Japanese food for lunch, Teriyaki grilled chicken or something like that. I don't remember the name of this restaurant but it's in PTT gas station which is on the way to Ayutthaya.

I got to admit I did wonder about waynes afternoon drinking habits, I really don't think I could get away with it if I had to work the rest of the afternoon.

It's really not fair that Wayne Kerr goes on all those snazzy trips and comes back to home-cooked gourmet meals. And tells us about it all. With pictures. Next he'll be sending the aromas over the Net.

I'm thinking about to have a proper Spaghettis Khi Mao Talay somewhere around Asok if I can get myself out of this box.

A slice of ham on a whole wheat croissant followed by a few squares of dark chocolate.
