Cheese & pickle sandwiches tasty.
a guy who was in my class at Warsash nautical college who I had last seen in 1995 called me and we went for lunch at a seafood place and had tom yam soup , steamed red grouper and spicy fried rice.
We are both much fatter than we were in 1995, but he is balder too.
10 mikes of valium and a half bottle of pipers. Damn portfoilio tanks again! See you on Friday (maybe).
curried chicken, curried veg, rice with a fried egg on top.
and a can of green tea
I made a shrimp salad (frozen "prawns" from Thailand). Not too bad. ranch dressing. I bought a green bell pepper (capsicum) to chop up in the greens but my neighbour's dog came to visit and he ate it (he grabbed it outta the bag on the floor as I was putting away other stuff). Still hungry after (no, I did not eat the dog) so had an eggo toaster waffle with butter and Quebecois maple syrup. Water with a squirt of lemon juice. Made another pot of coffee for aft work. Now I'm having white wine.
Beef steak in red wine sauce with fried potatoes at the Dao Cafe. 235 baht and fooking lovely.
Yesterday was Laab Gui.
And today Yam Nuea.
Egg salad on a kaiser roll. Dismal.
Yum naam and kao, in Chatuchak. Cheap and enjoyable!

Nothing! Ate and drunk too much last night!
Khao Ka Moo: 30 baht
Chocolate Cake: 45 baht
Now, normally if I were at The Mall by myself I'd dip into Sizzler and have salad bar and ice tea for 155 baht, so I saved 80 baht....
BTW - Cake was made by Sima Thani hotel and was good, if a bit sweet.
Mrs CMN made me & GoW a nice breakfast. We didn't need lunch after that.
Yesterday and the day before wasn't much variation in my meals
i had some mama noodles with an egg and cucumber inside it.
YUMMMMMY. How did you do those spuds, DD? Just boiled? And how do you cook your chops? I find the pork here in Canada really tough or I'm obviously cooking it wrong.
I had leftover fried chickie, half corn on the cob, my last three red gummy bears (I have lots of yellow, green and black, if anyone wants them), glass of water with lemon squirts, square of fridge choc, and because it's Sunday, I am having a glass of white wine. Oh. Shit. It's only 10:20 am. But I did get up about 5 am. I also finished reading a book called "Zazoo" with my repast.
Khao man gai - I ain't wasting the time to put a bloody photo of it on - how sad can you get?
Spuds boiled and pork fried, we aint got a grill
Today was curry day yet again
Home-made creamy tomato soup. Chunk of French bread with mushed up avocado. Still hungry. No sweets to rummage for in the fridge. Really want a few scoops of a DQ peanut buster parfait.
