    Earw Thai

...out looking for a new sofa at the Crystal Design outlet mall in Ratchapruek...we stopped for lunch at this Chinese restaurant with an unpronounceable name. The dishes were well-prepared, efficiently served and delicious. We started with a hot plate of seafood with chopped cabbage and other greens; the server then brought these items in rapid succession: ground pork in tofu skin, fried rice with salted fish, an oyster omelet and light seafood wraps. SD had a chilled coconut and I enjoyed a large Heineken. If we're ever out in that area again, this is where we'll eat.

Only because you can't read Thai (or only read the weird transliteration and didn't read the Thai). เอี่ยวไถ่

It's actually easy to pronounce. There are no difficult sounds for native English speakers.

Here's the FB page for the restaurant: Earwthaisukiboraan Facebook

...point in the resto's favor: they serve folks who don't read Thai!...

Have never eaten at a chinese restaurant since spending time in China. It put me off for life.

Living in the SF bay area I came to really enjoy Chinese food. Sichuan, Hunan, and Cantonese foods were some favorites. But and a big but, I have found very little Chinese food here I enjoy. If it is a wedding with Chinese round table I will not go. I am not sure if I was spoiled by the Chinese food in the bay, or just it was the first I had and enjoyed. But I do know I do not eat it here, yet will go out and eat it while on holiday back in the USA.

    ^Quality!

I have had one leather sofa for over 15 years and it is still in great shape (kids and dogs).

    Little warning.

The last sofa we purchased for my daughter (housewarming gift) took about 3 months to be delivered after the order was placed. She’s in the states.

My order; 15 years ago, took at least 3 months to arrive. In the states also.

Hate chinese food like this. Prefer American Chinese.

Ordered from Lucky Panda in the past, but I think they went bankrupt during covid.

^ Think they are still alive and kicking.

They posted on their FB page yesterday and got a couple of reviews on Google the past week.

I used to drink in a pub in Chinatown in the UK and the British Chinese lads in there always said the worst Chinese food they ever ate was whenever they went to China.
