...an ad for this place appeared on my FB page: we decided to give it a try...it's located on the corner of Charoenkrung and Sathorn, very convenient to the Saphan Taksin BTS station. The restaurant itself is tiny even by shophouse standards: two tables and window stools downstairs and more seating up wooden stairs to the second floor. We started with mussels in tomato sauce (tangy and plump) and a Caesar salad (much the same as everywhere else). For mains we had a breaded pan-fried seafood platter (excellent!) and a seafood pizza (today is a non-meat day chez nous). The pizza is ordinary and not up to Pala standards. For dessert, a homemade (we were told) cannolo and profiterole: both light, creamy and not too sweet. I had my usual Montepulciano and SD enjoyed a lemon drink. The atmosphere isn't as interesting as Pala, but the food and prices weren't bad. We'll probably go again.
