    Tasty Congee and Wonton

...a Hong Kong chain with 2 outlets here...we tried the Paragon branch: we started with crispy pork-filled wonton accompanied by a delectable sauce. I continued with the shredded green onion and ginger-flavored glass noodles and pork dumplings (excellent!) while SD tried the nicely-sauced glass noodles with beef (also excellent). The other dishes (turnip cakes and bok choy...served with appetizing sauces) we've had many times locally and were both well-prepared and efficiently served. I had a Heineken and SD ordered some kind of tea. A delicious and filling meal: we're going again...

I'm having a bit if a chili crisis, one in which a combo of beer and some bloody spicy food over nearly 3 weeks seems to have either stripped my esophagus or ulcerated it. I can eat silly spicy but i'm tapping out for a few days and that table would hit the spot. I think something similar with a few dim sum thrown in. Lovely.

    Edit

I'm still on the beer so its not really serious yet

It looks great TC, thanks! Isn't that a bit over the top for the bak choy though? Did the waiter think ya'll needed some greens?

...a generous portion, I agree: we brought half of it home...
