Another delivery today, and I went for a few more options...

Pikes Place - value for money???-20191123_124339-jpg

Got 30 Ristretto as this and the Kazaar are my main morning fixes. Also got some more Cantaccini biscuits because they go well with a morning espresso.

Also saw these new chocolates, so got two of them:

I don't find any of them go fantastically well with a latte or very milky drink (which I sometimes like), so I went for these two which are specifically for milky drinks:

Finally, there were three new special variations, one lungo and two espressos, so I thought I'd try those out:

Just had a Nordic Almond Cake espresso, and it's really quite an interesting fellow...

Has a nice smell to it, nice coffee smell, not too strong with a whiff of almonds, sweetinsh, nice. I like kt, goes well with the cantuccini biscuit! Quite nice indeed.

Then I had a Corto milky coffee - nice.

Despite all the ideas of using this type to mix with this type and add a bit of this, etc, it seems clear to me: the best tasting espressos are the espresso pods. The best tasting lungos are the lungo pods. The best tasting milk coffees are the milky coffee pods... I'm a basic fella, I just use them as they were intended, one pods for each coffee, job's a good 'un.

TD Gayest Thread of the Year 2019 is a shoe in for Betty.

    Is a poll even necessary?

If that was meant to redress the balance after your Stephen Fry moment...it really hasn't.

....and somewhat environmentally sound, in a reusable/cycling kinda manner.

And could he address it as 'an interesting fellow' as he does with his current pods?

I wouldn't go Dolce Gusto, Dilly - very gay...

Nespresso Original is where the real men play.

indeed, and they are priced the same, for 600 THB you get 50 capsules here, not 45

    The machines are $200 here...

The coffee is fairly cheap at around $5.5 or so (sometimes $6) - for a pack of 10 delivered to your door and the old capsules taken away to be recycled (could probably sell them if I were a gyppo).

But it's the fact that you can have a conversation with your coffee in the morning, selecting from a variety of personalities (the coffee not yours... ), that's priceless!

How many years before the effects of the Aluminium delivery system take root and you forget your name and start drooling?

That happened years ago by the metal crap the dentist filled my ugly English teeth filled/filled-in mouth with as a teenager...

    Another delivery, wife was pleased...

Pretty sure this thing has paid for itself 2 or 3 times over, as I rarely goto coffeeshops now whereas I used to spend $10 per day or so 5 days a week.

Mostly got Kazaar capsules because they are the best shots, imho.

    Had an Indian, quite nice.
