^^^ about 12 to 14 individually wrapped biscuits.

^^ they'll probably become my staple although I did get 20 Dahrkan too as an alternative.

^ Papillion is quite a big fellow...

&, only real men have an Italian pistachio biscuit with their morning intenso...

ok that's 0.50 a cookie, a bit overpriced, will have to take the time to appreciate them with each sip on a 1.5 dose of Kazzar

Umm ya right. Far far better coffee to be found in Seattle other than Starbucks. Most of us grew sick of Starbucks years ago. Our palates are far more advanced than most of you.

Some French, Italians, Turks, etc, know a bit about coffee. Just like some Mexicans know a bit about Mexican food. It's not only Americans that have these advanced palates...

I hasten to add, I know fuk all about coffee, don't have any sense for coffee, but just want a quick and reasonable morning offering that'd be better than instant, and I didn't wanna brew anything meself, grind beans or filter anything...

    I didn't say you did, and I didn't say you didn't, I don't have a view on the issue...

Anyways, after watching 5 series of Grimm, me and the wife want to move to Portland, seems like our kind of place, so I am very open to all things West Coast.

Now, should I do another before bed? It's not as if I don't have enough capsules... (maybe a sneaky biscuit too?)

Maybe a Pike Place Lungo before bed? Why not...

I find I'm putting far less milk in and preferring the coffee taste. I think that's an improvement?

Noticed a strong dark expresso blend while I was in Homeplus, so thought I'd try out a packet of 10:

    A quick expresso before bed...

Verdict: Nice smell, a bit too bitter maybe? Not as nice as the Kazaar, but might be good to mix into a latte? Or nice to add as a kicker with a more refined blend in a bigger latte that needs two shots.

Costs: I've spent $330 on the machine and 140 capsules and the 14 free capsules. I reckon I've saved about $60 on coffees during the days I've had it (about a week). So, if I go at this rate it'll take 6 weeks to pay for itself, but I'll probably drink a few less, buy a few a week in the coffee shops and it'll take 3 months or so to get my money back - that's not bad considering the convenience and enjoyment of trying different blends. '

Speaking to other folks who like their coffees and have tried many types of machines, it gets pretty close to a nice pot you'd make yourself by buying beans, grinding, filtering, all that bollocks, but is very quick and easy... I like it - you should all buy one then invite your neighbours round for coffee parties...

You've only saved $60 on coffee if you usually spend $390 a week on coffee.

Makes no difference who the teacher is if you leave before Easter.

who pays more than 2EUR for outside coffee? the Nespresso machine is highly addictive, so your daily intakes is closed to 5 or 6 coffee a day
