I never take those discounted offering as i'd feel i was depriving you norvern lot from a cheap feed.
^ They don't do yellow stickers in Aldi, do they?
I am reduced to Sainsburys and Morrison with the occasional M&S and FineCheese Company delivery, i never visit them Kraut stores, their meat is shite and they rip off other brands copying the product and packaging and somehow seem to get away with it. Their wine is also invariably fukin awful, they are a disease in the supermarket world that screw British Farmers and tell us they are supporting them - Kraut cvnts.
Anyway, those NZ has beens are on Glasto on TV playing their only hit, i gave up festivals years ago once they became a commercial, packed nightmare but i'd take the IOW over Glasto any day now.
Funny you should mention this as I was asking about an old friend recently and I was told he had gone into the A/C business.
Seeing my raised eyebrows, my interlocutor replied that he had been doing quite well for about 6 months, sold a few down south, but that he had gone bankrupt after about a year.
Global warming hasn't got that bad yet.
I don't know about how energy efficient they are compared to other heating methods but obviously there's reverse-cycle aircons that can cool and heat. Handy when you're in countries where temperatures swing between 45c and 0c through the seasons..
I swear that every time I return home after a prolonged period at work I am confronted with a list of jobs to do and appliances that have packed up and need replacing. A cynical person would almost think it was planned. While I was away this time the rice cooker packed up (oh dear, what a pity, never mind) and we had some cretin move and clean a couple of aircon units. The less said the better.
Last night I was cooking tea and discovered that the microwave had stopped working. The light packed up a couple of years ago but now the turntable goes round and round and it makes all the right noises but the food remains stone cold.
Tonight all I wanted to do was make a meal of re-heated, left-over shepherd's pie with some veg. The pie went into he convection oven but what to do with the veg? How to cook the beans and sweetcorn?
I resorted to the gardener's microwave. Once seen, cannot be unseen.
Not a bad result mind...
Money...
That micro wouldn't have looked out of place in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
Fvcking hell!
That microwave is a work of modern art, there may be a cure for Monkey pox in there.
Btw sweetcorn, peas and beans side by side on a plate!!!
What a trifecta
There was me thinking you were a one trick pony in the kitchen
Mendip, does your gardener go by the name of Jeff?
Air fried popcorn chicken and chips for the not so little un.
And just chucked my dinner in there now too
What a life, without the wife!
