I've had a few yum yums, but I never got a trifle at the end of them.
Btw, how's that diet doing these days?

^ did you rip that chip bag open with a fork
Don't mention ripped frozen veggie bags
I decided to add a splash of health to my curry chips tonight with a frozen peas garnish for the sauce.
Forgot to check which end of the bag had been savagely ripped and all the peas ended up scattered.
Lucky it all happened inside a removable bucket tray so the clear up was not too onerous
Toasty crispy edges on those oven chips with the crinkles.
Garnish with a couple of chicken tenders ay viola.

Curry sauce is done so it was time for a new bloke batch of curry
I went for a Rogan Josh for this week. I just feel that I should mix it up a bit rather than go for Tandoori every time.
But I always regret this occasional decision. Tandoori is the best curry.
I tried to liven it up with spices and chillis and vinegar and it was pretty good but it is not quite on the tandoori plane.
I even miss the vivid orange compared with the lacklustre mustard hue of the turmeric RJ.
I have to eat it for 8 days in a row now. At least I will enjoy my Tandoori all the more next time.
Old Gunter, the Obersturmbannfuhrer, got in a right old froth when he saw it and took it out on his junior Sturmbannfuhrer.
I won't be making that mistake again...
The curry was better on day 2 when I added some tart Italian tomato paste and some more vinegar.
I am looking forward to the rest of the batch now.
Egg fried rice masterclass
What I have been doing wrong on previous attempts was to break the raw egg in to the frying rice. YouTube told me to scramble the egg first and then remove while frying the rice and then re-add which was on the money.
Lemon grass is from the plant kindly donated for fostering by Tiny Thai Lady in January. Chillis were from my garden.
Garnished with peas for protein
Flavoured with Teriyaki and oyster sauce, which are real winners in the stir fry condiment department
Dangerously close to not belonging in this thread, Looper!
Quick n easy healthy combo of vegetable, dairy and meat.
Mmmm. Healthy veg and dairy.
The good bits don't last long.
Might as well throw the rest out now.
^^Original. That is going in my blokes recipe book
A bit of cottaging is in order to really bloke it up with a beer
Don't forget to thatch your Cottage Pie as PAG calls the cheesy topping
Thatched pie... mmm.... you don't get many of them to the pound these days
I can't find the breakfast thread so this will do.
