Fairy nuff. And it is the blokes cooking thread, not the haute cuisine thread.
My question is, those chips are frozen. Take them out of the freezer and throw them in the hot oil no problem.
When I par boiled (in oil) MY chips, then froze them, then took them out of the freezer and threw them, frozen, into the oil there was a hell of a mess. How do McCains do that?
If we stop testing right now wed have very few cases, if any. Donald J Trump.

The one and only reason I've bought an Airfryer is because I don't cook anything in hot oil at home, but would like things like home made chips occasionally. Home being a Condo with aircon running 24/7 and doors that might as well be welded shut, not the ideal situation for deep frying anything.

Did you put them in frozen or thaw them and toss them in oil first?

A very light spray of cooking spray into the Airfryer, then they went in frozen for 10 minutes @ 200c. Came out the same as if they'd been deep-fried (crispy outside soft centre) but obviously, not oily. Had actually been playing around with oven fries recently with absolutely no luck, they never took on any colour and were soggy. 20 mins at 200c in a pre-heated oven according to the instructions, fucken bullshit.

Agreed, no preheat oven to 250 for 20 minutes before inserting, then turn down to 200 but make sure both the top and bottom heating elements are bright red and the pan has been oiled.

No hot sauce required on this bad boy

For thin and crispy 19 minutes from a cold start (but not frozen - i.e. cold oven but defrosted) = pizza perfection

I'm horrified by that, but at the same time would like to try a slice before passing judgement

^Sorry can't help with temp or timing, when it comes to pizza someone who knows what they're doing will be making, cooking, and delivering mine.

That end product looks better than the pic on the packet. I can see mushrooms too, although this new found rioja does seem intent on premature blindness Lu
