I wouldn't say Fat but my edges are softened.

I take it your Mrs is not partaking.

My Mrs won't eat beef but can't explain why. She got the sweats when i got her to try Flame Grilled Steak Crinkle Cut Crisps xmas time, first i told her there's no cow in them, once she'd gobbled 1/2 dozen i said they did indeed have cow in and it took several laps around the garden with her trying to beat me with a mosquito racquet before i could convince her they didn't have cow extract in. I'll try her on Bovril next time

Mine wouldn't eat beef when I met her, I think because she had a pet cow and buffalo. I gave her a McDonalds hamburger one night and told her what was in it afterwards. She will eat it now but prefers lamb.

Mines the opposite. Loves a steak* or a chunky meat pie, but I've not had a lamb roast in a decade

    * Took her to the mountains, log cabin ect. Bought a T-Bone, sauteed in butter some mushies.
She looked at the raw ingredients and she went nuh ... no way. Just the broccoli for her. Have rice?

Cracked a tinnie, got cooking. Ten minutes later I got the ... 'smells nice'.

Gave her the smaller, tender part of the T-Bone and most of the mushies ... hooked, chewed and sucked that bone ... never looked back since.

I made Pumpkin soup, it was nice. No pics though....

How's that Manny, is that contributing to the thread or just being a Jeff-level fucken pest?.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now we'll try it the way many of us have done it countless times in the Dinner and Breakfast threads, or in stand-alone threads if something that's taken a bit of effort was involved.

    Made Pumpkin soup today, been eating healthy for some time now and will get a few low-cal but tasty meals out of this;

Couldn't be easier, just chop up some Pumpkin, Onion and Garlic (it's all going in the blender so it doesn't matter how roughly it's chopped) then add a Chicken stock cube and just enough water to cover everything in a pot. Keep the Coconut milk for later. Simmer till everything is tender, then blend it a little at a time and once it's all blended add enough Coconut milk to suit your taste.

Would be great with some crusty baguette on the side . I just add S&P but Mrs Worx - who really likes this simple soup - will add Chili flakes.

    Piccy update-
    Saves me writing 8 paragraphs

That beef is tender as hell, strangely the carrots are crunchy. It's got another two hours yet though.
Think i'll add some Maggi sauce for even more flavour

The reason Thai women don't eat beef is down to the local voodoo /fortune teller.

They've made a promise and Buddha will never forgive them if they break it.

For the record there's two types of omelette.

One is manly the other is not.

Spanish Tortilla made correctly between two chunksides of bread with Tabasca sauce and aeoli is manly coz it has potatoes init.
The other omelette has Maanaam describes is well shifty and unmanly, sort of stuff Lulu would knock oop on his hello kitty hob

It was a starter for my main course, which was leftovers from yesterday of roast Chicken breast and sauteed onions/peppers in a whole-wheat wrap.

A pic follows, just to prove I'm not doing a Manny

Youse fuckers is feminizing this blokey food thread with your condiments and garnishes and other feminine products.

They're only cheap about £10 or 500baht, use them for healthy fruity shakes in the morning also..
Probably my fav kitchen equipment although it's not very manly to admit

porridge on toast, a quick nourishing breakfast.

    1. empty 1 packet of quaker oats quick porridge into a bowl, fill the empty packet up to the dotted linewith full fat milk, place in a microwave on full power for 2 mins. take one thick slice of seeded wholemeal bread, put into a toaster and switch on.

    2. after 45 secs, stir the porridge, so to speak.

    3. after 75 seconds remove toast from toaster and spread with butter or olive oil according to taste.

    4. after 120 seconds remove bowl from microwave and spread porridge over toast, sprinkle with cinnamon and drizzle with a little honey or jam.

    5. thats it.

Coconut milk is optional. I don't use much anyway, maybe 3-4 tablespoons worth in a liter of soup.

No idea, sorry. Just Google up soups using the vegetable(s) you like as a base, that's how I first found the Pumpkin soup recipe.
