Noticed when I got home that the sell by is tomorrow,

no promplem as they're in sealed packs and can be frozen.

Anyway, 200 gm rump was 66 baht!

330 per kilo. Must be the bargain of the year.

That's a good deal, and you're right it will freeze well. Should have loaded up.
I bought a capon at Makro for Xmas. 300 baht for a 2kg bird and it was excellent. Roasted it. So meaty and tender. I have no idea where caponising is still done. I'll be buying capon again for sure.
(I also bought a whole pork belly which I cut into a baking dish sized rectangle and made crispy pork. Perfect. and 3 odd sized pieces left over, frozen.)

From time to time Makro does have some good marked downs.
