Thread: The cost of food in your area.

I have heard chatter of the rising cost of living in Thailand and food came up as a major cost. So I decided to post some pics of a local food store in my area, the Midwestern United States. Just to give some perspective of costs of basic food in my area to see how it stacks up with your area. This will work if others have the time and are willing to share there true costs as of October 2017.

All you can eat at the Local casino was about 25 USD per person. A bit high but it is at the casino.

A loaf of bread varies in Quality from bakery to bakery , but the price of a sliced loaf is from 70pence to £1.20
average is a £1

Now if others want to put up some prices in their area please feel free.

Also If someone could kindly tell me how to not show the extra bit at the bottom about attached images that would be helpful as well.

Thanks for the input was wasabi. It's about a buck for a loaf of fresh backed french bread here however the whole grain processed kind is 2 to 3 dollars a loaf.
