That you have to ask that question... ;)Quote:

With gin I go for Tanqueray...I don't really feel the extra 500 baht + for Hendricks is worth it.
Also please remember that Vermouth needs to be merely introduced to the party goers and then shown the door.
Who was it who said you let the sun shine through the bottle of vermouth onto the gin and that's enough.Quote:

There's a string hanging out of your Bloody Mary. :)
Make some Vodka Jelly Cubes mate. A tab of LSD in each one. Done.
The first (and last time) I got a bottle of Hendricks, it suggested drinking it with cucumber, which I did by sticking batons of the stuff in my glass because you're not gonna argue with a 4,500 bottle of gin.Quote:

^On the side, with salt.
Currently drinking Finlandia with a bottle of Stoly in reserve... drink it with anything, tonic, red bull, cranberry, juice.. or neat with cornflakes

Neat vodka? Yuck.
Not when you inject it.
The blue Smirnoff from Duty free (it's stronger so obviously better value) and my mixer of choice is Diet Coke. Or Coke Zero.
I'm on a diet but still need to get hammered on most nights.
Lovely I substitute fresh limes as lemons are rare and poor quality, never add the horseradish for visitors as it kinda of warmns thems of things to come.Quote:

Anyone tried this one?
Might treat myself for Christmas...

Not relevant to a thread about vodka but I just treated myself to a bottle of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey for £ 15 at a local TESCO. It's normally £ 25.
Lots of good prices around if you look. Just stocked up on Famous Grouse whisky at £ 15 per litre at ASDA.

May sound a bit girlish for you lot but I like iced vodka with cucumber and mint, top it up with some Martini if you are feeling poofish...
Red Bull? The devils drink, horrible taste horrible aftertaste, YUK. Only kids drink that. Or men who pretend to be kids.
I do like a bloody mary, i just mix whatever's in the cupboard - Worcester, tabasco, celery salt, garlic, lemon juice, lemon pepper and vodka and tomato juice. And stir it with the other end of a fork. I drank one tonight knocked my slippers off.
Great if you keep it in the freezer, goes all syrupy.
Tonight, again, instead of Tonic i chose Bitter lemon with a splash of orange juice for the vitamins.
Cucumber makes me burp!! But i do like a Pimms in the Summer.
Can123 - my family in the UK are doing the same. Stocking up. Good prices.
It's always handy to have a nephew who works in the wines and spirits milieu.
In Thailand steer clear of the local brands of tomato juice, they are just too sweet. Go for Campbells if you can get it. I think the juice of a whole lemon is way too much. More like a generous squeeze.
I also like vodka gimlets. Vodka and Rose's sweetened lime juice on the rocks. And what could be better than a vodka martini on the rocks?
Some great info, thanks.
I think I will refrain from snorting it, injecting it, drinking it for breakfast, making vodka LSD jelly, or flying to England to buy it. And instead will start with the cranberry juice with mineral water and ice (cube, not meth).
The only way the Russians drink it. Ice cold and neat.Quote:
