Loytoy, the pies look great. Can I be your exclusive distributor in PI? I'll fly to Pattaya during the jimbobs party to get free food & the pie supplies. I'll sell your products, together w/ Mrs. Knowlton's wares, just to be fair.

    Just kidding!

I haven't tasted a meat pie, honest. (No sniggers, pls, lol) Here, the pies they make are dessert pies - lemon, coconut, pineapple, etc. I'd love to taste those pies - they look good enough for Luigi to forgo his diet! If I eat those pies, I'll have to do xxx hours of zumba just to burn them off!

Cheers LT and good luck in all your (and your wife's) ventures!

    Blimey.

Time to buy a deep freeze and give them 10 years worth of business.

That would be absolutely ridiculously cheap.

I think the Phuket lot that sell through Villa etc. retail at 110b-130b ish.

Going by comparison of size, quality, taste, these should retail at 180b.

I'll buy a few boxes of them before the price goes up.

the big microwave test is tonight (on the missus' pie. Mine is out of the freezer and in the fridge ready to be fully defrosted at room temp and baked. Hers will be wave'd from frozen and the crusts compared. Exciting stuff in Pieland.

My wife's biggest hurdle has been the competition and the wholesale pricing they set.

When she started selling it wasn't about taste quality or size it was all about cost.

Now things are changing rapidly with people going into bars and restaurants asking for them because the product is that good and far superior to the competitors.

As part of a meal being pie chips or mash, peas or baked beans and gravy anywhere between 170 and 300 baht.

Normal frozen pies 100 to 120 baht per pie.

My wife's wholesale price per pie will be set at 70 baht delivered in Pattaya or 65 collected from home with a minimum order of 10 pies.

I am meeting with a guy who wishes to open an outlet in the North tonight at 6.00 pm.

If we cannot work something out with him I will then inquire about freight costs and let you know.

Sorry about the delay mate but everything she makes is pre-sold. We must expand.

Just the thought of eating those pies makes me want to forgo MY diet! Lol

As for vids of me zumba-ing, none, sorry. Heh.

Look for the song "Worth It" zumba, performed by the group Live Love Party on youtube.[at]they're a pinoy grp & I dance to that tune. You can imagine I'm the girl on the left. Same hair length. But she's prettier. Heh!

Based on the pics, loytoy's pies are Worth It!

    Official Announcement from the OPIT.

    Better test it.

Now I don’t eat kidney, so the Steak and Kidney pie has been designated as Main Mrs. Luigi's. I’ll do this up on Saturday night while I have the Minced Beef and Onion.

I’ll defrost and bake one in the oven, and microwave the other from frozen, and then can compare the condition of the two crusts.

Guess which pie is going to be zapped in the wave?

The Official Microwave Crust Test has been postponed due to the current situation of Luigi being given the silence treatment for at least the next 12 hours.

This situation is likely to recover to a stage of possible testing within the next 24 hours. Apologies for this delay.

Never mind the fookin calories. Large mammals need pies, and we demand the real deal. Last pie I ate in Lao was a Lady pie Phuket manufacturer I believe. They are ok but that's it, LT,s pies look way superior. Time to go international with them bad boys mate,

I can't understand what all the fuss is about. Normal people make their own pies. We haven't bought one for years.

Normal people don't have time to make pies, leave that to the experts me thinks.
