I often drive up there. All Belgian beef. Properly fed, butchered and aged. Good quality but not cheap. They have a small retail store where they cut steaks, roasts et al however you want.

Gound beef is excellent. Tell them amount of fat content you want and they grind as you wait.

Yes. Same beef as the ranch. I believe prices are a bit higher than at the ranch. I don't know if they cut sizes to customer order as at the ranch but likely they will.

It doesn't for me. I know they are still going strong- a Swiss friend drives up there monthly, and takes away a swag of good meat for himself & friends. But that's a lot easier done from Ubon than Pattaya.

i stop by there outlet in udon Thani when I'm there, the ribs are great, steaks are just so so, but still far superior to anything I've bought in Lao, damn hard to get a good steak.

Pop it in a blender JJ and have it through a straw, up to you. Love a good steak, but they are usually disapointing

That's exactly why we've kind of given up on them in LOS.

However, here in Darwin last night we grilled half a dozen Porterhouse with some baked spuds and salad and they were beautiful. Out on the balcony with some nice wine then mango and ice cream for dessert. Perfic.

i'd still rather be home though.

We generally only eat be in the "ground" form as the steaks here are shit. The wife will get some of the paper thin cut beef, marinade it overnight that we'll use in stir fry.

At home we consume pork loin. bloody lovely. pan fried with a good coating of black pepper and garlic.
Never over cook it and let it rest for at least the time it took to cook it.

    lovely stuff.
