Someone was raving about The Loft to me today. He said they sell great pies and he especially goes there for the bangers and mash.

I take it they are your piez LT. What about the sausages?

    Is the contest still on?...

    Hey, LT...How about a pie-eating contest as a promo?...

That would be a lot of fun...

One of my university profs years ago said that the contestants "got it all wrong"...

They all gorge themselves and tear the shit apart in a race "to win"...

He said he'd just sit there and really enjoy the food in front of him, slowly but surely until he'd had his fill...

They certainly are mate and overall the food there is wonderful.

With regard to their sausages I have only tried their piggies in a blanket which was part of the Sunday Roast and they were delicious.

    Done and Dusted.

    Steak & Onion.

    Perfectimo.

    Sausage Roll.

    Rolltastico.

In all the pies the pastry was perfect. The filling was moist with fantastic flavour and quality ingredients. There wasn't one knobbly bit or grisly bit, all the meat and other fillings were perfectly cooked, I'd guess slow cooked as they were all moist, tender and filled with flavor. No hard bits.

    Great job done.

The pastry needs to rest longer, will stop the cracking either that or the pastry is to dry.

FFS Jack this is fast food served up for very little costs and every fucker loves them.

My wife will be delivering heaps tomorrow on second road not far from where we met.

If you think you can do better there is a great opportunity for you.

Just consider she opened the door for you........

Now get your fat arse into gear.

LT wasn't a criticism just an observation, let the pastry rest before rolling give it a better presentation.

I know your wife has done well, and wish her the best of luck.

Fuck that I'm happy doing my bit then having R&R

perhaps in a few years when I can't hack the pace anymore.

Still think you should try a Chinese pie.

It's gotta be said, those pies look great, as did the sausage roll. The pastry looks top notch to me and not too heavy.

But how to get them if in Bkk?
