Actually I was having a look through Wetherspoons online menu last night ,, and to be fair to them they do a range of healthy option menus on there .

They even show a calorie count for each meal .

Funny thing is there is no price list alongside it ,, this makes me wonder if the pub chain is like a lot of the Little chefs in the UK ,, all the good money making one,s are run and owned by the Little Chef Company , but all the other one,s in crap positions that barely make ends meet are franchised out to numpty after numpty who plough in they're life savings thinking they are gonna become business millionaires only to find themselves loosing everything and ending up in social housing .
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Any one of those plates would be a breakfast for me, and the main plate enough for two days.

Horrifying to see them all together.

Pretty much similar shite in the UK mate ,, fried bacon , processed sausage / black pudding / baked beans / fried bread etc .

Glad I have always taken sandwiches I have made ,, when I was on long distance work and was away from home all week I would take my lorry off the main road into any little town or village to seek out a nice little bakery that would knock me up a couple of nice wholemeal rolls with a tuna salad inside them .

Ofcourse the downside of that was the bakery,s also sold very nice cakes

They refused to certify me, but it wasn't through lack of trying.

    or you can add chips

Freshly made, served with chips (add 398 Cal) or ask for a salad instead (add 101 Cal).

That's the greatest subliminal con on the English-speaking world -
Just attach "family" to this and that - you've got a winner.

If they have it in... I ordered the Superfood Salad from my local once and was told they don't stock the ingredients, because no-one ever orders it. So I then asked for the Pasta Pomodoro which came with half the ingredients missing or substituted (and soggy, claggy pasta)

I wonder what Mathos and Flobo would make of the shite pub grub on offer on this thread, let alone their cat Thomas.

They may contemplate a stroll over the gently rolling hills, otherwise known as Slappers arse cheeks.

Which would be fine, as long as they don't try the sausage platter.

Just one question Slap, how many times after you've eaten in this fine establishment have you immediately made haste to Mr. Crapper?

We need some photos and the taste reviews pronto for the complete picture. Or do you come over all queer when offered a low cal mouthful?

You could fry up a couple of onions, garlic and can of tomatoes and boil up some pasta. For about 2 quid. In fifteen minutes.

My only takeaway let down is usually a kebab or a pizza. They advertise their takeaway pizzas for 15 swiss francs, but when you start going a bit gagga with seafood or four seasons the price rises rapidly. The last one was 24 francs. Good advertising for them, not so good for the peeps.

Whereas the kebab, chicken or the horrible standy uppy thing. 10 francs - now that is good. I eat the other half the next day.

Welcome to Switzerland - the land of milk and money. Where a pint of guiness will cost you 8 quid.

I was going to ask if that was Swiss prices, Pats. In UK, you could do it for a quid
