Will visit, I like a good Indian. Do you make the curries yourself or do you buy it in from Fon's place off Thepprasit? Just for info, no ploplem if you do, she makes some acceptable stuff.

Also, please confirm you do not serve catfish dressed up as dory like at least one other fish 'n chip place does.

I just went for a Sunday drive and tried to find this place to give it a go or at least have a look. Fucked if I could find it.

your menu, even by the dismal standards of the late night drunk your amateurish marketing spiel is aimed at, could hardly described as top quality food.

its more the greasy glop to be found in the downmarket shitholes that blight every high street in the uk catering to the "i couldnt care less" school of gourmet diner to be found tottering home after a session down the pub.

thailand, with its wondrous variety of late night street food, hardly needs the worst that the uk can offer.

with any luck the police will quickly close you down on some trumped up work permit infringement.

That's if they can find it . To be fair, that areas population is expanding at a stupid rate, Christ knows how many thousands of new condos have been built or are under construction in the last few years. It'll probably do ok and at least this bloke is having a go, but getting into the food game here is no easy road to riches...

So with all this talk of fish-n-chips, it was time to get some. Normally I'd use Simon's or The Village Chippy but while looking at the Door2Door website, Not Just Curry and Chips has been added as a delivery option. So, that'll be a battered shark and large chips please.

Not bad!. The photo doesn't really show it due to the XXXL sized plate but the flake fillet would have been about 11 inches long (I ate the last inch off the tail and half a chip before thinking to get a snap). Neither the fish or chips were "wet" from being drowned in low temp oil, and the taste was quite good. Only complaint is the home-made Tartar sauce was nice, as was the idea of adding a bit of lime, but there wasn't enough of either. No worries for me, I have Tartar and fresh lemons in the fridge anyway, but someone getting a delivery to their hotel room or bar stool mightn't be happy. Anyway, I'd order from them again.

I've had no pm's from you, you must have sent someone else your battered sausage oics.
You are in for a treat though Nige, Charley, the hostess with the mostest, has the finest tasting fat stumpy pork chipolata ive ever tasted in Thailand. He fukked up the poached egg though

He's alright Tax, i found that post quite funny, but i'm not the restaurant owner

That fish looks quite nice, chips never travel well as a delivery option though.

Give us the verdict on the pies, pasties and battered sausage. They always sound better than what they taste like in Thailand and are normally devoid of any gravy or moisture

    Dont be so precious.

At best its emergency rations for the desperate, but its hardly quality food.
And he still hasnt told us where he sources his "cod" or his "haddock"

I stand by my original assesment

^ Agreed KW. If he would have been back to answer any questions and post some pics of things on his menu people are wondering about he might have got a few more sales which may have resulted in some 'word of mouth' advertising among Pattaya locals. But no, one post to get the message out then see 'ya later...

^ Or doing what about 90% of new Pattaya "restauranteurs" achieve which is opening eateries, hanging around for the first week till their wives can produce something resembling food, then reverting back to going out getting shitfaced every night 'cause their restaurant is in auto-pilot and the only thing that needs doing is to count the money each morning .

    Glad your're better now Paul.
I thought it was a paki run place
I didn't realize it was taken the name of an old tv show.
