Lovely.
i was satisfied and happy and good.
i am now covetous and bad.
Nice, when's the house wrecking, sorry warming.
Have already been here for five years now, so, a bit late for a house-warming.
where is that??
Itis rather lovely.
This flame tree was put in six years ago. It has grown about two inches since then.
Most of the year it sits around with not a leaf on it. Can't seem to make up it's mind whether it wants to die or not.
Have given it fertilizer and water but it just doesn't want to grow at all.
It's supposed to be a fast grower. This is about the best it's ever looked.
Chalong, Phuket. Thanks CMN.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon
I think you should build some sort of crazy golf type thing.
A nice one that fits nicely into the environment.
Lovely garden.
Wel done.
Funny you should mention that. A few of us get together and play croquet (Barney Rubble Golf). Don't laugh, it's actually a pretty good game and we are usually pissed as newts by the end of it.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon

Yep, I agree, lovely looking and huge garden dude, well done. Now when you gonna put the fish pond in?
Where's the bloody swimming pool?
Sorry Burr, but thats a damn good question here in April?!
Along one side of the land are mature trees with millions of those things attached called leaves. Unfortunately, they drop.
Having a swimming pool would be a major pain in the arse due to the leaves.
Also, why have a pool when I can go to the beach?
Swimming pools are notorious for attracting loud, noisy kids whose family "just happened to be in the area".
Might put in a jucuzzi one day, though.
so your only slowly killing one tree then.Originally Posted by Sir Burr

How much for a house and garden like that in Phuket then Sir Burr ??? What about something similar in a non touristy provinical area... anyone?
The whole lot cost about 8.5 million. The land which I bought in 1999 worked out at 1.5 million per rai. I know land here has reached 4.5 a rai.
Have no idea how much the lot is worth now.
Still say a nice Koi carp pond is needed though Sir Burr, get it sorted out.
jees are you crazy bkkmadness? stopid question I just realised as I typed out your nik, the maids would eat all the bloody fish given the chance....
Ah! Not so happy memories...
Glad to hear the plants are doing OK though.
