    Quality Gardening Items?

Most items I have purchased here in Thailand have broken, bent or rusted away; my wheelbarrow lasted 12 months.

Is there a Garden Store online with higher quality items on offer? I would love a rubberized wheelbarrow for example with a blow up tire.

I appreciate we live in a different culture but my heart sinks when items continually need to be replaced as it is incredible bad for the environment.

    Thank you,

    Simon

not good news, i'm afraid. 20 years here, and the good garden tools I bought here are either from military surplus or from shops where usually the owner, creates his tools by using welding and quality steel.

Thank you Tommy! Seems to be a business opportunity as organics, gardening and being more self sustainable seems to be catching on in Thailand.

    you need a different strategy,
if you buy items, you need to buy the spareparts at the same time,

a thai lawnmover, that I bought at HomePro in 2011 for about 10k THB,

10 years later, it looks like that,

so - if I had bought the startercase as a sparepart, right at the moment, when I bought the lawnmover,
I could use this item a longer time.

Concerning you whellbarrow, you have to coat the steel with a quality paint every 3 years, and you need a dry place during the rainy season.
chang mai, chang rai ... cha, cha, cha

    Never experienced that.

Could be that the folks, who stole them, did though

The Honda part is a steel case - thats solid,
but this case was just plastic.

Its breaking, when the plastic is old, and you try to start the engine with force.

You go to shop, and ask, if they have parts to fix it,
    Google Maps
    but no way.
