If you want to water 4 rai on the same day 3000L won't do it if it's flood or knocker sprinklers. Even if your piping water to drippers it's not enough! Can you get town water? Or have a bore sunk?

ou may wish to locate a market to sell your product.

What crop are you intending to grow, what are your crops daily/maximum water requirements, does your property have a slope, where/what is you water source, what is your areas normal daily rainfall throughout the growing season, what are your areas normal daily evaporation rate. what is your soil type, what's the vertical height difference between your water supply and the top of the tank .......?

You say you have a water tank, how high above the highest point of your property is it?

These will be required to size your pump. Then once that is determined you will need to size your solar cell panels, control system and possible battery storage requirements to run your pump.

    Lastly locate a supplier/installer company.

Solar panel efficiency does not matter because you need batteries and the sun does not shine 100% of the time. Modern humans need power 100% of the time. Even if the cost goes to 0.00 done of the previous mentioned problems go away.

May I suggest this is as good a place as any to start.

If nothing else it will ask you all that is needed to know to get you the right system to suit your needs.
