Thousands of ducks released to protect Thai rice fields from pests

Drone footage has captured a flock of about 10,000 ducks being released towards rice fields in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, to devour pests such as snails hiding in the rice stubble.

Clip runs for just over 2 mins ...

Snails are a pest at the Fish Farm, but not on this scale.

After they've finished, it's back on the truck and off to the next field.

    Amazing Thailand !
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago ...

Eventually they'll end up on someone's dinner plate somewhere. Delicious.

I had pet ducks as a child. For me eating duck is akin to eating rover.

    Great video!! Thanks for sharing.
I am tempted to say that 'they certainly got all their ducks in a row " but it would be corny so I will not . LOL
