After queuing for several millenia at Wickes, I was able to begin the construction process in earnest...

Darn it, I missed a trick there!

After the cobbled edging was in place I made a little retaining wall and dug out the space for a step up to the arch. By now Boris was out of hospital and barking orders to all and sundry tp go forth and EXERCISE. "Do as much as you fcuking well want," instructed Bozzer, obviously still smarting a little after his brush with death.

OK, will do then, Boris, but can I finish my Pandemic lockdown project first, please?

Looks like it is getting there, Slap. Nothing like getting your frustrations out by digging with a shovel.
That first pic of your children wandering in the garlic is precious!

After several more eons of waiting at Wickes, I bought a half a dozen cheap slabs and used an angle grinder to create the top plinths for the wall, and paving for the step...

The step then got pointed and a ton of 20mm pea shingle was added...

This is the current state of play.

Not sure. I think the British sun has been and buggered off. Might stick a firepit in it to warm us up on those cold summer afternoons.

Lovely stuff. Is the wee pooch a cocker, or a springer, or a sprocker? Or none of the above?

Yes, it is - albeit for the Mrs's car, my seven seater just about squeezes in. Firepit will go betwixt planters and archway. In fcat, what am I talking about - there shall be so such pit, we need somewhere to play swingball. As you can see, the garden and house is pretty small - looking to upgrade, but buggered if that's possible in the Southeast. Looking towards Dorset and Devon on the otherhand - your Home Counties cash goes a long long way.

These days I'll usually plump for a robust glass or two of Argentinian Malbec and a brace of regional ales - daily of course.

I was sort of hoping that Por was part of an elborate nightmare I once had, but no, the fact that I keep waking up with a gaggle of Asians in my house would suggest otherwise.

Now the weather has changed for the worst, will you be undertaking any interior projects?

Hope you and yours are keeping well.

I've got the whole house to do, dude. Will finish landscaping the front, then come the autumn will systematically go room to room making good, repairing and decorating, then next spring I'll stick it on the market and buy somet bigger.

So I decided to start my own Grape orchard.
I had four grapes and I was going to invite people over, but squirrels ate three and i cant decide if I am going to make wine with this one or a preserve,
Can some one please help my with posting pictures. Why can I only post thumb nails? Is there a preference that I need to check some place in the control panel of this foeum?
